We were told to " Get off our high horse" and that he " didnt tolerate attitude". Left the job unfinished and our front lawn in worse condition than before he started. This is a very angry, unstable, unpleasant man. He was supposed to do a sprinkler system, loam and hydroseeding. We got none of that for our $400 deposit. He scraped off what grass we did have, as he said we had " grubs", then refused to continue, saying we " attacked him" and plowed it back back on, and hand sprinkled some grass seed. We now are hiring an actual landscaper to repair the damage he did to our property. He actually tried to accuse us of " stealing his equipment" ( to install a sprinkler system) which he left here for 2 weeks. We, in fact, put it way out back so no one would walk off with it. We were scheduled for the week of May 15 to May 20th. Weather was fine that week. Middle of june we had nothing but a mud front lawn. Thank heaven we only lost $400.00. We did nothing wrong except ask this individual to let us know if he wasnt coming.My hubs was recovering from hip replacement surgery and had physical therapy appointment s which we changed to be here on property, which we always do when hiring workmen. That simple request enraged this unstable person enough that he left us in a mess. Be very, very careful if you decide to hire this person. He knows what he did and can spin this any way he wants to. After many attempts to reach him, he finally stopped over once I sent before and after pictures. He stopped by with two other men from his company and walked around my property. He stated "I don't know what to tell you to do, its still doing the job, I'd leave it alone." Excuse me Sir, it's hardly doing any job. Its entirely caved in and looks awful. He doesn't care that my yard is flooding because of his work. My advice is go to someone who stands by their work and helps guide you when their work completely fails. Hired David Laflamme and his crew to build a horse barn…read more Stall size on the contract were 10 feet by 10 feet, when barn was finished the stalls were 8 feet by 10 feet. Not off by a few inches, a FEW FEET. There were also numerous safety violations and short cuts taken in the process that the building inspector wrote a report about 3 days after completion. There was also a list of things noticed wrong by us the owners that were done wrong and that list was given to them 5 days (or so) after completion. Laflammes stalled (no pun intended) and argued with the building inspector and didn't come to finish the barn for 3 MONTHS. Then he had the nerve to ask for the money 3 hours after that. This would be enough to write a bad review, but there is more. Near the end of the project I let David Laflamme know my displeasure in the process by saying "I wouldn't let you build a dog house at this point"....he proceeded to threaten me with physical violence and threatened to "come to your house if you don't stop running your lips". I have this conversation in writing in case he wants to deny it. Oh, and he NEVER fixed the stall size. So, when it comes to having something built, try elsewhere.
