Thomas has taken down multiple large trees for me without any surrounding damage and then hauled away the downed tree and brush without leaving any evidence. Thomas is very responsive and always schedules work quickly, and he's absolutely someone you can rely for urgent tree removal support or to deliver cord wood when you need it most. I definitely recommend Northern New England Tree Removal!

Ben from BD Crafters just finished a major deck repair, and I couldn't be happier with the results…read more The Trex on top was fine, but there were 3 visible beams that were either rotted or severely cracked. In order to replace the beams, it was necessary to remove all the Trex. Once removed, I was amazed at all the underlying shoddy construction done by a local construction company. Ben gave me two estimates, one to just replace the 3 bad beams and the other, which was close to being a total rebuild. It was an easy choice to go with the second option. The deck is a weird shape, and in order to use the existing Trex, all the new structure would have to be perfectly measured. The deck did turn out perfect. I was especially happy that Ben was very selective in picking out the pressure-treated wood at the local big box store. Some of that wood is exposed and the grain is just beautiful. I had originally planned on painting the exposed wood, but it looks so nice I will probably go with a transparent stain. Ben's workmanship was outstanding. The price for the work was reasonable and about what I would have expected. This is the first time I have used BD Crafters. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others.

We were new to the area and needed some bathrooms and a kitchen done over on our new house. Stan…read moreis a nice guy and does pretty good work. There are certainly some flaws though. One of his employees appears to have taken some cds from my house. This employee also stole from SBP Builders too. This guy no longer works there as he skipped town. Also I found that cleanup was never really done after a job. I had to do some major cleaning myself and there is a general disregard for the rest of the home by all employees, using furniture as places to leave tools etc. They installed a door the wrong way, it swings inside and not outside as I asked. They hung a mirror in my bathroom that is still wobbly and makes it hard to clean for fear I will knock it down. The price was decent. Overall, I would rate SBP builders as 'okay'

He responded promptly, and was able to squeeze me in a week later, as well as find time to get Radon and water samples taken prior to inspection so they could be ready shortly after the inspection. Day of, we were treated to an extensive home inspection. Despite the reasonably small finished area, Eric went above and beyond and inspected the unfinished areas in detail (as we planned to finish them), answered tons of our questions about every little detail. I now have a 91 page inspection report with all the deficiencies and small things to fix up. By far the most thorough and detailed home inspection we've had to date, and for the smallest house we've had inspected, no less! Strongly recommend.
