Job foreman Hunter and his crew were professional, courteous, and provided continuous status updates of the project. The crew showed up on time and cleaned up afterward. They did an outstanding job and in very cold weather. The house is an old farmhouse located in East Montpelier Center on Center Road. Basement floor is primarily dirt and or rock. The company cleared out debris then completely transformed the basement into a waterproof area. A drain pipe will be buried in the spring. The air quality of the home will be great now and we can use the basement for storage without worry. Hunter and his crew were great! I think the price for what was done was fair. Will not hesitate to use Northern Basement Systems in the future if necessary.

Scott was one of them and gave us a time frame of about 3 weeks which we thought was pretty good especially since the other company couldn't get to us for over a month. We were looking to have a few semi-flush mounted light fixtures, a ceiling fan and chandelier above the stairs replaced, and an outlet added so that we could move our TV above the fireplace. Scott was very professional and worked quickly. I was both pleased and surprised that he even changed his shoes before coming in the house and swept up after himself. I was also very thankful that he was able to fix an incorrectly installed ceiling fan that could have come down at any time (our baby is obsessed sitting under and watching our ceiling fan when it is on). He is priced fairly, does great work in a timely manner, and cleans up after himself. What more can you ask for? I would not hesitate to recommend his services and I will definitely be contacting him for future projects.

He clearly came NOT dressed to do an inspection. He had no tools, not even a flashlight. The 3 major areas I wanted checked he barely gave a cursory glance. I asked about the heating system, he didn't bother to turn it on. He did suggest I might want to get it serviced, gee thanks. The water system, he had no idea what it was or how it worked, again didn't bother to turn it on. Rot on outside boards he looked at visually, when I asked if he thought the rot extended deeper he said he had no way of knowing that. I could go on and on but I think the point has been made. These are all answers I could have guessed at myself and saved myself close to $500. And the roof , we'll he said that looked good, from the ground!! When I called to complain, not that it would do much good since Todd is the owner, I was told he was dressed in linen shorts and a dress shirt because he was coming from a golf tournament.
