Overall, we're extremely satisfied with the service we received and would highly recommend Murphy Inspections to anyone in need of a reliable and trustworthy inspector. The home inspection was really thorough and professional from beginning to end. He looked at every part of the house and explained what he found in a way that made sense. The report was very detailed, which gave us a clear picture of the property's condition and helped us make smart decisions when it came to buying the house. We felt confident in what we were getting into, and that was a big relief. The inspector did a great job of covering everything, and we appreciated how easy it was to understand the report, even from a distance. Overall, the inspection was a huge help in the home-buying process. What really caught our attention was the number of significant things that were pointed out to us, things that we wouldn't have known about or noticed on our own, especially since we couldn't be there in person. The report did more than just identify problems, it gave us a clear understanding, put things into perspective, and gave us peace of mind. We really appreciate the hard work and professionalism that went into our home inspection. If you need a reliable home inspector, especially when buying a house from far away, we highly recommend Murphy Inspections. Once the job began, their work was amazing, very fast but phenomenal quality, and they were very courteous to our renter. The staff member we'd coordinated with took the trip up to our home to review the work with the site foreman and kept us constantly updated. The basement looked fantastic immediately after they finished. Fast forward to now, about a week ago our renter noticed standing water in the basement so Northern Basement Systems came out same-day for a service call. They determined that it wasn't a part of the system they installed, but was a fitting on a pipe that was leaking. They fixed the pipe and didn't even charge us! Our tenant texted raving about how polite they were this time around as well. Definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for basement waterproofing solutions. Their service has garnerd them customers for life from our family.

Scott was one of them and gave us a time frame of about 3 weeks which we thought was pretty good especially since the other company couldn't get to us for over a month. Scott was very professional and worked quickly. I was both pleased and surprised that he even changed his shoes before coming in the house and swept up after himself. I was also very thankful that he was able to fix an incorrectly installed ceiling fan that could have come down at any time (our baby is obsessed sitting under and watching our ceiling fan when it is on). He is priced fairly, does great work in a timely manner, and cleans up after himself. What more can you ask for? The water system, he had no idea what it was or how it worked, again didn't bother to turn it on. Rot on outside boards he looked at visually, when I asked if he thought the rot extended deeper he said he had no way of knowing that. I could go on and on but I think the point has been made.
