We ran into a few unexpected issues during the project, but Young was always upfront about what was happening and communicated his solutions clearly. I would have been better off hiring men from Home Depot. Totally unprofessional, rushed the job, ruined a couple of plants and didn't give a shit how it looked, even after I showed the owner the damaged plants and all the broken branches only to find more as the branches dried out in the weeks to come. He tells me the plants are delicate, but yet they didn't treat them that way. I will never hire this unprofessional company again and recommend that you don't hire them either. They have plenty of help to do a good job, but refuse to do so. This was a total rip off job to the tune of $500. I'm so sorry I hired this clown to do this job, every time I look at what they did it makes me sick and pissed that I didn't throw them off my property and paid them nothing. It was over 3500 sq ft of lawn and irrigation, as well as concrete fixes around other parts of our property and pool tile repair. I chose them because they had the best strategy to combat the problem, even though they weren't the cheapest quote we received. I wanted the fix to last long term, not just hold me over for a year or two before another gopher invasion destroys our yard. Everything was extremely professional and delivered to contract specifications. We were extremely happy with the results. They had to move a portion of our fence to get the big equipment in but you wouldn't even know it had been moved because they were total pros putting things back. When we asked for additional scope of work (a French drain), they were quick to get back to me with a quote and incorporating the additional work didn't push out the timeline. All in all, highly recommend and we'll definitely use them again for our landscaping needs.

They also incorporated re-using my old rocks from the front yard to my backyard walk way. They did an amazing job and cleaned up spotless. The front yard is now livable by me and my dogs. I met with a designer first who mapped out cement steps, and beautiful and natural plants scattered throughout the front with a river rock bed. Included a few mounds and boulders. Also was a beautiful arbor that was made and fencing around certain areas of the front yard. I had never worked with a landscaper before, so the only caveat I would say is be sure you are aware of all of the expenses because they add up very quickly. It was a major sticker shock situation. Second project was to build a patio out of existing stone pavers with artificial grass in between for a beautiful design. This project took much longer than anticipated because the wrong size turf was ordered, which was quickly remedied; they did not hold me responsible. What was unanticipated was the tedious job of ensuring the turf was nailed down. The guys on the job were meticulous in ensuring everything was measured and leveled perfectly. With that said, it was another situation of many manpower hours that were not expected. I understand that once a project gets started, it is often unpredictable how it's going to turn out and this was the case here. I am currently in the midst of getting another estimate from Stevensen's Landscaping so I'm sure that tells you that they do great work.
