I asked for an estimate to create a walkway, concrete patio, irrigation, sod, and gravel. A week had passed after Renee came out to get measurements with no update on the quote so I reached out since other companies provided same day quotes. Renee responded to me so very unprofessionally via email stating "Geez! It's only been a week give me a break! We are busy I promise you haven't forgotten but this takes time." I was shocked because I don't think there was anything wrong with checking in after a week's time. Renee apologized by saying "I forget you don't know me" as if I should be able to discern her personality and tone through email. If I didn't like the workers I had met, I would never have hired them after this interaction. I shouldn't have to work more than they are for service, and definitely should not have been scolded for it. When I finally got a quote I felt that they were charging an astronomical amount for sod and gravel (we are talking 3x more per sq ft) and therefore only approved the walkway, patio, irrigation and sprinklers. I was told about their warranty and their experience in the field, and signed a contract. Upon completion of the work, I wanted to give the workers the business of completing what they started (by laying sod and gravel). However, I wanted to know if they would be willing to just do the labor and I would have the sod and gravel delivered directly from the source for 3x less. Renee declined. I asked for the sqft measurements for sod and gravel that they took for me so I could explore this on my own, and was denied this information. Then the owner got involved and told me he would void my warranty if I were to have the sod and gravel completed on my own which was never once expressed to me previously. Then he had the nerve to bring up my remaining balance that was emailed to me the day before, a holiday (July 4) as though I was some kind of delinquent customer. I'm sorry I didn't get to it when I was enjoying my holiday with family and friends! I was appalled yet again. I would consider their business ethics before going with them. However their workers were phenomenal and, quite honestly, should be in charge. They were more professional than the owner and manager were!

So nice to work with a contractor who doesn't continually ask for advances and completes the job when they say they will.

We also had a time constraint because we wanted to host an event. Alfonso was clear in his instructions and got the job done within the 2.5 weeks we needed. It also was a complete redo of the backyard with having to install and fix drains, build a bbq, make our waterfall a little bigger, build the planters, install lights, install canopies, and install the hardscape. We are very happy with the yard and the grateful for Alfonso's expertise.

Do not hire this contractor. I had them show up at my door at my new house and leave an ad. I…read morecalled them and they gave me an estimate and they did start the work. Then they kept insisting that they needed an up front payment to finish the job. I fell for that trap and paid them a portion up front. They simply disappeared after that. I confronted them at their house and they claimed they finished the job! They disconnected the sprinkler system and did not let me know. Some of my plants almost died because of this. They keep promising that they will come back on some date and then not show up. I am now about $3000 poorer and in the need for a new contractor!

We had this company do our complex several days ago. We had scheduled them to come on a certain…read moreday, so I waited for them to show... all day. I had called their number twice, but never got a response. My neighbor, who was the person they were in contact with the previous year, informed me that they had an emergency. Understandable, but they should have called me as I had left my information for them to call me. So they reschedule and do show up. I spoke to the owner to let him know I didn't appreciate him not letting me know what was going on. He did apologize. They proceeded to do a nice job on the trees. However, they could have been more careful removing the branches that dropped on the ground. One guy was raking an area that had plants underneath the branches and he raked it all. Would I recommend this company? Yes. The price was reasonable, but I would be sure to let them know to be mindful of plants growing underneath any trees.

He answered the phone himself when I called, was able to come out the next day to give me an estimate, and did the job the day after that. His price was $200 less expensive than other companies I had quoted. His work is comprehensive and he did a really good job. He brought two other guys to help out the day of the actual work and they hauled away everything and cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again.
