This was April 12. He quoted $20,000 to take drain way around back yard for dispersal. I said I just wanted french drain length of front of house with run-off to the side. He then quoted $7500 for this but said he had to get back to me to be sure on cost of materials. Said he would contact me on April 14th to firm up price. No problem. Fast forward to April 21st, What's up Dave still no estimate? Told me he was waiting on pricing from his supplier because of the Trump Tariffs. Funny thing is, the materials used for this project are gravel, dirt, perforated plastic pipe and a shovel which can all be purchased in the US all day, every day at any landscape supply shop. Fast forward until today, June 5th, still no call, text, or email. Please don't allow him to treat you like he has treated me. Luckily I was able to get another company to complete this project perfectly for $2500. And if you don't believe me about his response, here is copy of text on April 21st: ​"We are waiting on the wholesale to get back to us on the shipping price. Do to Is terrifs."

She went on to explain how she and her husband look at end-of-the-year invoices, then decide who will get contractor discounts. Based on who had more-larger transactions for the year. I then voiced I felt that wasn't fair. Elaine then raised her voice and told me I wasn't going to tell her how to run her business. She then hung the phone up. I remember when Elaine and her husband only had one small backhoe and one silo. Well before the commercials and the successes, she's had on the backs of hard-working contractors and starters businesses like myself. They also landscaped our entire front yard, and installed a paver driveway. They did an amazing job of landscape design, planning, project management, installation, and follow-up. Outdoor spaces gave us a schedule (which was very tight), and brought our various projects in on time.(and a couple of projects were done during Covid) Any time we had questions or issues, they would follow-up immediately. The management, and entire work team, were very conscientious, and made sure things were done according to specifications. (no corner cutting) Outdoor spaces also coordinated with the various other companies, such as fencing, plumbing, electrical, etc .. to make sure things happened on schedule. They even worked with the city, and our homeowners association to get various permits and approvals for the work that was done. It is amazing the transformation Outdoor Spaces did to our entire "outdoor space". Every project they did was in collaboration with our needs, and our budget. Nothing was cookie cutter..
