Twice trying to deposit funds they either held them up or denied them they want to be business friendly bank, but they won't handle large checks over 2000.00 with out some BS or waiting 4 business days. they have miss applied funds on loans. read more

When I received an overdraft fee, I called and was put on the phone with a woman named Rosa. She was very kind, informative, and professional. Not only was she able to waive the fee, but she also see up a draw account for me to protect me for the future. Overall Rosa was great and deserves recognition for that. read more

I've banked at Landmark for over 30 years but the fact that they won't open their lobbies and I have nowhere to go with my change has me considering other options. There are lots of other credit unions now. Also they told us to go with a local lender for our home we are building north. Always had good service from them but not any more. read more

Tried to call to speak to a LIVE person several times and was greeted by a loop recording directing me to use my computer. If I wanted to bank by computer I wouldn't have selected a 'member friendly' credit union. You are sounding more and more like a bank, not my credit union. read more

Good mortgage rates/terms but.... Landmark Credit Union uses a contractor to verify whether your insurance is up to date. This contractor is highly unprofessional and seems to "lose" track of information. Of course, if you do not show them proof of insurance within the designated time frame, they'll sign you up for an extremely expensive insurance plan, regardless of whether you have insurance or not. So they have every interest to slow roll the process and not keep careful track of the information. The latest example: I refinanced the mortgage on my condo July 12th. As part of this process I needed to send in the current insurance information the inside of the condo (mine) and the master condo insurance policy (the condo associations insurance). I sent in this information and the mortgage was refinanced. However, today, July 29th, this contractor claims they do not have the updated master condo insurance policy. So now I have to track down this information again despite the fact that I provided it earlier Like I said before, the mortgage terms are good, low fees and all that, which is why I was refinancing, but I'm getting awfully sick of being harassed when my insurance information is up to date. If another credit union or bank has comparable terms/fees, go with them rather than go with Landmark Credit Union. read more

I use them to finance a vehicle. The interest and terms are all reasonable, and the customer service is fairly helpful. The reason they get two stars is because their online services are truly pathetic. It's extremely difficult to enroll in their online services in the first place-I've tried to enroll three times, requested online help once and never got it, and called and was told (weeks after the initial incident) that their website was down. Basically, these people don't know how to use the internets. It's also very difficult to actually make your payments, and you can't make direct payments with a debit card, or a bank account until they verify your bank account. On top of that, phone payments cost a $10 convenience fee. If you're an old lady who likes sending checks in the mail, Landmark is probably fine for you, but if you are a modern person, you could probably save yourself some stress by looking elsewhere. read more

Car loan- The rates are fine but the service is terrible. Navigating the website is like trying to teach grandma how to code her own website terrible. To pay a bill you have to link your bank account, but not through the bill pay area of the site, that will have you link your bank to their bank with no way of using it to pay your bill. I have spent 2 separate occasions wasting at least an hour on the phone to resolve issues that their recordings are persistent to make me believe it is my fault for not understanding their website. Their communication is also terrible. When I bought my car I watched them send my insurance info via fax. Fast forward 3 months and I am receiving a "final notice" (the first of any notice that has been sent to me) that I will owe them close to another $3,000 for insurance for the year because I have failed to send them proof. Now one hour later I am still waiting to speak to a representative. read more

Yikes, talk about an underhanded and greedy company. They are no help on the phone or by mail and they will literally double your payments without any real attempt to let you know. I had to make so many calls and ended up getting the right information from my insurance company rather than this company. I will literally never use them again. Had the car for only about year and already thinking of just getting rid of it just so I can be done with these guys. read more
