Great service. Love listening to the scripture from great pastors who stay focused on the Word…read more However, it is very disappointing to have people who are supposed to come to church to "LISTEN TO THE WORD" sit in the back of the service talking loudly about their personal adventures. This happens especially in the room where the coffee shop is located. PLEASE STOP! Go outside with your personal conversations if you're not going to Calvary Chapel to listen to the service. You can listen to the service in your car. And to the parents who love to leave your kids running around yelling and talking loudly (while you encourage them) making all kinds of noise. PLEASE STOP! When you tell your children in the service that their yelling is cute and you're laughing with them. This isn't right. Go outside and play with your children. You're there to listen to the service... not create disruptions so people who want to listen to the service aren't able to. And it would be great on Wednesday nights if the ushers would close the doors to the room where the cafeteria is, so we don't have to hear the ushers talking loudly in the hallway where people enter the church. Hopefully people who are reading this will show respect for the people who want to listen to the Word

I've been going to Anchor now for two years. I think the things that make it stand out the most is…read moreits supportive congregation and diligent elders/pastor. The congregation is very welcoming and very open to newcomers. This can be seen by the first few faces that a person meets at the church: their welcome table. It has all the neccities to make one feel welcome: information about the church; personal items such as masks, tissues and informational pamphlets; and most importantly, welcoming people--volunteers with the sole job of making people feel welcome by answering any questions a newcomer might ask. The elders there are also amazing as well. Especially the Pastor. Pastor Ben delivers very thought-provoking sermons coupled with compassion and prayer. The elders' hearts can also be seen by the various ways that Anchor Community Church invites its congregation to worship. First and most obvious: the worship team. The worship team consist of various members rotate leading and serving on stage. You can tell that they spend hours practicing so that they can deliver the best experience that really allows the congregation to worship God distraction free. Other ways that the Anchor Community Church invites its congregation to worship God is through its Community Groups. This is where I feel Anchor Community Church really shines. Through its Community Groups, I have found that I am able to worship God and have biblical fellowship that edifies and encourages one another by discussing the previous sermons and by studying the Bible together. Overall, if you are looking for a church that glorifies God by its active congregation, ministered by apt elders, Anchor Community Church is right for you.

From Pastor Tim to all the brothers and sisters, "To know Jesus and to Make him known" was the perfect Tshirt to wear proudly. It been now 10 months at Efree and we are finally almost wrapping up our 10 week rooted program. It's been the most special experience in our faith and our 10+ years walk with Christ now. The children's ministry, programs and events are just amazing! Much love to all the staff and community that all made it happen! God's grace and blessing is overflowing here and I could not be more happy to know that GOD had a plan for us to be part of this church. It's all part of his master plan! Thanks to everyone that has touched our lives and helped us along the way. You know who you are!

Had to find a church so that my knowledge would grow. My pastor cousin told me about this church and said if he wasn't a pastor at his church, this would be the church for him. Right off the bat, that got me intrested. So I went and was hooked. People were super friendly, but not in your face. Programs they have here are the best. Sermons really hit my soul and touched me with laughter and insight. Church was smaller than Calvary, which was a relief. Love coming here and actually being able to find a seat in the sanctuary. Major holidays like Easter is packed, so beware of parking!
