Feeling overwhelmed and somewhat lost with all of the different choices and dealers, I turned to my boss of 20 years - one of the most honest and fair people I've ever met - for advice. He IMMEDIATELY told me to go to Andrew's Imports. Not knowing anything about dealerships, I followed his advice, and started looking on their website. I instantly fell in love with a gray Lexus IS 250. I was a little dismayed at first, because I know Lexus is a high-end brand, and I didn't really want to go broke on a vehicle. But then I saw the price listed online, and was astounded that the car was in my price range. After a phone call with Andrew, I felt totally comfortable, as he was friendly (but not overly so - in that fake way that some sales people can be, and I don't say that lightly, because I'm in sales, too!), was super knowledgeable about the car, and he set me up for a test drive that Saturday. Driving the car just made me love it even more. At the dealership, Reggie was amazing! He was super sweet and funny, just felt like he and I had been friends forever, and made me feel even more comfortable. He was able to get all the paperwork and everything arranged really quickly, and always responded to my bazillion texts in a timely manner. The day I went to sign everything, I sat down with Lisa. She was amazing, too! Lisa explained all of the documents before I signed them, and answered every question I had. She was the BEST! I actually enjoyed sitting in her office talking to her. I am not even slightly kidding when I say I would be personal friends with everyone at Andrew's Imports. One thing that may be silly, but definitely gave me the warm fuzzies, was the day I was signing the papers, the office workers had found a stray kitten, and it was wandering the office playing with everyone as they tried to find a home for it. That tells you SO MUCH about what kind of people they are. So now, I'm driving a car I love, that I didn't pay out the nose for, with fond memories of everyone at Andrew's. I will definitely be back when it's time to buy another car, which will probably be soon, as I have three teenagers! I can't state enough how positive this experience was. I was tentative about dealing with car lots, because so many times, you have that sinking feeling that they are scamming you in some way, or trying to screw you over. I never once had that feeling here, and in fact, felt the total opposite way. This place really cares about its customers and their satisfaction and it definitely shows!

Well, that's what happened and of course, being new to town-- we had no clue where to turn and needed immediate help. (Preferably, without being raked across the coals!) Not one, but TWO recommendations from the hubby's office sent us (literally) running into Andrew's arms, and bracing ourselves for a decent report. Just as described, Andrew's took great care of us. Reggie helped us originally and offered great customer care. Andrew's replaced the necessary sensor and a coil of some sort (don't make me talk car parts, I'm not classically trained), graciously offered us a loaner (we couldn't accept and used my car), washed hubs' car, AND quoted us a truly reasonable price (and by reasonable, I mean I didn't get the urge to cry)-- just went above and beyond! Fast forward-- We've now returned 2 times for regular maintenance and checks since our arrival, we've recommended Andrew's to a friend, and the level of service continues to exceed expectations. My last visit to the lot had me strongly considering buying one of their gorgeous cars that I can't afford, but the hubs pulled me away before any real damage was done! The car salesman we used in '12 was no longer employed, so they teamed us up Hussain. He was very easy to work with, once he knew what we were interested in he got keys to two vehicles and off we ventured off into the huge parking lot. He was holding the remote panic button up in the air and waving it like he didn't care! LOL! Once we heard the car horns alarming and lights flashing, we knew where our future car was located. We looked at two trim levels of the same model car so we can compare features (EX-L and Touring). I told Hussain that I read online reviews and countless YouTube videos about this car. So many of them, that I felt like I could be a salesman myself on this car but still had questions about a few features. This is where he excelled, he knew the answers to my questions but also showed me the difference on both cars. You can tell he did his homework!!! We took the car for a short test drive. While driving, we discussed the car but Hussain shared some personal stuff about himself. This was cool.....this made us relax more. The next steps in buying our new car were somewhat painful, but all car dealers do the same song and dance. The white shirt guys(managers) walked back and forth from the big glass room in the back of the showroom wheeling and dealing with my wife and I. What secrets are said in this room? Why are they so special? After several price exchanges with the white shirt, I was somewhat discouraged and ready to leave and not buy anything. Mostly because I didn't want to waste an entire day doing this....Just save us time and give me the lowest price up front!!!!!!! After an hour of price arm wrestling we decided to buy. The car we purchased was detailed and "delivered" to us. Hussain helped my wife setup everything in her car. This included Apple Airplay, remote start features, and explained the lane keep assist, front collision avoidance in greater detail. He also made sure we were legal and posted our 20 day temporary tag on the back window. He once again asked if we had anymore questions before we went on our way. I removed the one star for the typical price arm wrestling that went on with the sales manager (Greg). I truly hate this process and always dread buying a new car because of it. Also the white shirt was somewhat nice to begin with, but come to think about it he never congratulated or thanked us on buying the car once we agreed. He was in it for the money only.....Shame on you! Luckily you had a good support group around you and the internet, to help sell the car. The true highlight of this visit was Hussain and John the finance department manager. Both were very genuine in their actions and made our visit a good experience! I gotta wait 2 days for the online price discount to save a whopping 2.05? No problem, I will just go get a filter somewhere, anywhere else. FYI I spent 15 bucks at auto parts store. This online price point to drive business to the door just blew up in their face, as you can tell I will spend 3 times the money to do business elsewhere. I am filing this review because I have had ongoing mechanical issues with my 2020 Nissan Altima…read morepurchased through AutoNation Ford, and I do not feel that the dealership has made a reasonable effort to resolve the problems. Since purchasing the vehicle, I have had to bring it back to the dealership approximately six times for repeated mechanical issues. One of the major problems has been the air conditioning. I brought the vehicle in for diagnosis and repair, and while the dealership had my car, the check engine light came on. By the time I picked it up the following week, the light was off. However, about a week later, the A/C stopped working again and the check engine light came back on. Shortly after that, the vehicle developed an even more serious issue where it would not go over roughly 60 mph. I returned it to the dealership, and they have now had it for about another week. During this time, I have received little to no communication or updates about the status of my vehicle. I was recently informed that my warranty has expired and that they will no longer repair the A/C. I was also told that the vehicle needs a motor/engine. What concerns me most is that I have repeatedly brought this vehicle back because of mechanical problems, yet I still do not have a reliable car despite multiple repair attempts. I was told that if I want a vehicle considered "sufficient" or comparable, I would need to pay an additional $3,000. I was also offered a Ford vehicle as an alternative, but it does not meet my needs and does not feel like a fair or appropriate resolution given the circumstances. I do not believe it is reasonable for me to continue paying more money to resolve issues with a vehicle that has had repeated mechanical failures since purchase. Desired Resolution: I am requesting that AutoNation Ford review the full history of my vehicle and the multiple repair attempts and work with me toward a fair resolution without requiring an additional $3,000. I am asking the dealership to consider one of the following: Provide a reliable and comparable replacement vehicle without requiring additional payment; Properly repair my current vehicle, including the engine/motor and A/C issues, at no additional cost; or Offer another reasonable resolution that does not leave me financially responsible for a vehicle with ongoing significant mechanical problems. I am also requesting a written explanation of the diagnosis, the repairs performed, why they are now stating the warranty is expired, and what resolution they are willing to provide. I have attempted to work directly with the dealership, but the lack of communication and the absence of a satisfactory resolution have made it necessary to file this complaint publicly. L. Taylor
