You know me for my positive reviews and honesty. Well... my garage kept lawnmower came back with some extras. Today is May 11th, they had my lawnmower since March 10th. It was in for some normal repairs (battery, tire, and spark plugs) not anything that would require keeping it for long like a rare belt or engine overhaul. I went to Tractor Supply and found the tires and battery on the shelf. Spark plugs could be ordered in a day. I thought "No, these are our people, I will give them some time." I purchased all our lawn equipment from them. Faithful to keeping our lawn stuff running and out of the elements. Always came here for large purchases, extras, Stihl products, and was looking to upgrade our 360 mower. I enjoy mowing the lawn. I am the kind of person who posts pictures of my yard. I knew exactly what marks were on my lawn mower when it left the house. There were the usual scratches along the bottom from getting too close to the landscape pavers, but that was it. I missed my lawnmower and decided to go see how she was doing. We came by one day to see if it was still there and watched as they picked it up with a fork lift, hit the fencing, and the wall with our lawnmower. A guy showed up this morning, dropped her off and left without knocking on the door. The rod for holding our leaf bags was bent over (wall vs lawnmower). The new rubber clamp piece was snapped in half on the back. There are scrape marks through the plastic on both sides. The handle rubber is cut open. Thank you Land and Coates for making my mower look like trash.

When your relatively new (3yr old) lawn mower won't start and you've tried everything to get it…read morerunning, it's beyond frustrating. We don't know very many people in Virginia, so we didn't know where to turn, who to trust, recommendations, etc., so I sent out a repair request on Yelp. After giving a brief synopsis of the problem, my request was sent to multiple businesses. Miller's Garage was the first to respond. Joshua provided me with all the details I asked for. We received another response from a different business 2 days later. Due to Joshua's timely communication and honestly answering our questions, we decided to take it to him. He wasn't home but, we were able to drop off the lawn mower in a secure spot, while in constant communication with him. Just as he said, true to his word, he fixed our mower in a very timely manner (a few days), while giving an update AND at the price he quoted. No surprises, which is amazing nowadays. We picked up our mower and Joshua explained/demonstrated what he fixed, then he helped load it into our car. We appreciate that being as we're older. and went Upon arrival, we put it to the test. It was like a BRAND New mover again! Yay! Lawn is looking sharp again! Joshua at Miller's Garage is an honest guy that does exceptional work for a fair, reasonable price. He even gave tips on how to winterize it and keep it running for the long haul. I highly recommend Miller's Garage and if we ever have another problem, we will be calling Joshua to fix it.

He seemed to figure out what was wrong pretty quickly & said it should be quick repairs (it was almost a month, I think). He said some wrong parts came in & he had to reorder. Then, we had a lot of rain and some flooding. He works from his back yard & said his flooding was bad. Well, at least one of my mowers must have sat in a flooded area because the 2nd man I paid to fix it said the carburetor was all gunked up; It also needed a new air filter. It worked for about 5 minutes after he brought it back & it quit working. The rider lasted for one mowing. Josh said he's a veteran. Well, my 92 yer-old dad is a veteran too & his riding mower didn't get repaired. Josh Miller didn't respond to messages by text, email or phone. It's so sad to give people your trust & then be treated like poop. Very unprofessional too.

My mower was less than 2 months old but needed to have the self propelled mower replaced as it was defected. The first place on the list that would repair Ego mowers was this other place that had a 30 dollar deposit which would be refunded after the warranty covered the repairs. What made me uncomfortable was the fact that the wait was over a month before they would look at it. Not only that, it would be sitting outside in the elements (or a somewhat covered area still outside). It was the hottest time of the summer and I felt with an electric mower, it wouldn't be good for the components, the fading or whatever would occur in that months time. I didn't like that and called Capital. Capital answered right away and said they could have it seen in less than 2 days and repaired as soon as the parts came in. I was looking at a week vs over a month. Their deposit was 60 dollars however I didn't care about that because I knew it was covered by ego. Everything went very smooth and a week later, my mower was fixed and back to brand new status. It was actually better than new because the motor to the self propelled was defected from the beginning. I got the deposit back with no hassle and was on my way. I was thrilled with the service and for certain would be taking my equipment back here if ever needed. Oh, I did mention to them the other place had my mower outside and he was shocked to hear that especially with an electric one. He took me over to the warehouse that was an actual building and showed me where my mower would be. That was the icing on the cake! I highly recommend this place for your repairs.

Called and spoke with Douglas who came to my house. He took apart the carburetor and found he couldn't clean it out entirely and it needed to be replaced. He gave me the information on Amazon and I ordered a new kit which turned out to be a cheap Chinese product. Texted him back a few days later and he didn't reply because he does not answer texts as I found out later. I called him a week after and he said he would send out his son. Brandon came out and replaced the carburetor. When it was done it was idling higher than normal. It made put-put sounds like an outboard motor and actually backfired once. Brandon told me he had to go abruptly and said to call him the following day as he would return. He said the valves were the problem and quoted me additional costs. I called him the following day and he gave me a time period later that day when he would call me back and let me know when he would be coming out. He never called. I texted him asking to make and appointment and he never responded. The only thing they did right was cashing my checks. I called my old mobile repair person. He gave me a list of what they did wrong from ordering an inferior carburetor to how it was not properly installed and or adjusted. After retiring, I am always trying to save a buck and it was my fault for having faith in these two "persons." I should have seen it coming that when dealing with Douglas and his attitude. What kind of people take an elderly person's money and not complete the job nor even return a call and texts? I should have gone with my old mobile mechanic as it is a professional and veteran owned business. Trying to save myself some money cost me more in the end.
