It wasn't on either of the maps I was using to map my quilt hunt--I found it after finding a brochure. It was the last shop I visited (after about 10 others) and it was where I found THE ONE. The designs on the quilts were innovative and very detailed. Very reasonably priced. A must-do if you're searching for a nice quilt.

I was treated very rudely by the older Amish lady who closed the store this past Friday. After a…read morebusy day with work and family, I arrived at the store several minutes before closing time. "Great," I thought, until I found the closed sign up. The lady inside told me they were closed, despite their sign saying they were open until 5 pm. I explained that I had come for a specific item and would only take a minute of her time. She said she already closed her register and her driver was waiting. I asked if I could pay her or her driver extra to remain a little longer to sell me the item. She told me I should have come earlier (which was not an option) and that I should, "go home." When outside the store, I saw that her driver did not pull in and pick her up for another ten minutes. I was very disappointed in the lack of honesty, care, and professionalism in my experience. Please state your correct hours and stay open to your customers until that time. I will not her returning to this store that I enjoyed for a very long time. I met the artist who created my handbag. She has dozens of patterns. If you have time (especially if you are local) she is willing to find colors and patterns if you don't see something already finished. Each type of pattern has matching wallets, make up bags, change purses, glasses cases, keychains holders and many other beautiful items. Weekends are more crowded (closed on Sundays). The store is near the end of Peppermint Lane, not far from where performers entertain guests.

Yes, they have a lot of Amish dress fabric, but they also have a really nice, somewhat small but enough- section of quilt fabric at super prices. Also, their notions are really low prices. They have a small, but wonderful selection of really neat greeting cards among many other things. You would have to decide for yourself, but personally I like to stop here whenever I can.
