On September 21, 2026, my 8:00 AM appointment was rescheduled because Dr. Taylor was having vehicle issues. I was asked to move my appointment to 1:30 PM, to which I agreed. While I was on my way, I was called again and asked to move it to 4:45 PM, which I also agreed to. While on my way a second time, the appointment was canceled entirely. Today, September 22, 2026, I received a call at 9:43 AM asking if I could come in at 1:00 PM. I agreed once again. Due to traffic, I arrived and checked in at 1:21 PM, only to be turned away and told that Dr. Taylor could not see me due to the office's grace period policy. Given that I accommodated multiple last-minute schedule changes and cancellations on your end over the past two days, I find it extremely inconsiderate that no flexibility was extended to me upon my arrival. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. Please process the following requests immediately: 1. Cancel all current and future appointments for both myself and my husband. 2. They are hard to get on the phone also. When I show up after taking time off from work, all they do is reschedule. I called corporate in December, after the 2nd time it happened. They said they'd have someone call me. I finally got a call from the office manager in late February after calling corporate and the location again. When I called to schedule a new appointment (this is still from what I was supposed to have done in November), I was told that I'd have to have a totally different service since I hadn't been seen in 6 months. Um, it was 6 months because they kept canceling.

I thought that was very gracious of him to tell me that, and lead me to believe my dentist needed to be replaced! Dr Allison reportedly is able to do root canals efficiently, and I would not hesitate to return if I needed one. After moving from Ohio, I had one here in Georgia and I lay with my mouth open for +2 hours to receive it. Never again! I liked the man immediately and felt very comfortable. I ended up losing a day of work and not get the procedure done. I also have a medical condition, my main doctors cleared this procedure and I gave the information as I booked the procedure over the phone, however apparently that information was not communicated with Dr Cosby so in addition to me being blind sided with extra costs Dr Cosby decided, instead of asking my medical doctor questions, to look up online what should be done. Extremely frustrating that I communicated information and was met with undisclosed costs and an unprepared doctor. I got my files and will be seeking other offices.

Dr. Paris, DDS* is an Endodontic Specialist, meaning some Dentists (DMDs*) will refer you to him,…read moreor someone in his field, if you require a certain procedure that your regular dentist isn't certified to perform. Just think of it like when your GP/PCP (Family Doctor) sends you to a specialist for a problem.  Dr. Paris is a dental specialist - but I digress... *First off, the staff is extremely friendly, and you can really tell that they care, unlike so many other doctors and doctors' staffs have become.  You can usually tell how your experience is going to be just by the attitude of the receptionist (gatekeeper). The receptionist at Access Endodontics is very friendly and up-beat. I always just assumed that the Lidocaine shot had to sting just so that the dentist would know that he/she had hit the nerve, and therefore it was time to inject. I know it was stupid of me to think that, but Dr. Paris did prove to me that this was a myth. His shots are painless. I know that many people hate going to the dentist's office, however, as far as they go, Access Endodontics deserves 5 out of 5 stars.  With that stated, if you need an Endodontist, whether by referral or not, this choice is a no-brainer. I haven't been to either of the other two Endodontic Specialists in the area. I have heard good things about them, though.  However, on a personal note, what I do know is that when I WAS IN A HELLUVA lot of pain, only Dr. Paris at Access Endodontics would adjust his schedule to see me that week, whereas one of the other Endodontists "[would] be able to see me in @2-3 weeks." They also told me that if my pain got any worse to make sure I go to the ED at the hospital.  I said, "I didn't know ED doctors did root canals!!" Really - what good would spending a ton of money to go sit in an Emergency Room would have done, when I knew both the problem and the solution? Then I remembered something. Duh! They could not have cared less. Unfortunately, it gets harder and harder to find anyone in the entire medical field that truly cares anymore. I know there are so many healthcare workers out there that are amazing!! It's just hard to find you guys. I can literally count the good ones on one hand (out of all the doctors, nurses, therapists, etc., that I've met in the past 30+ years), and that's sad. But, I digress again... Doctors, in any field, are supposed to treat the patient, not the disease. This is probably why this is the longest Yelp comment ever. It feels good to write/talk/type positively about something/someone for a change. I'm sure that someone reading this has had horrific tooth pain at some point, so to all of you guys out there just know - he'll see you ASAP, and he's good. At what he does.  That's ALL that matters when your face feels like it's about to fall off. Thanks guys!!  I appreciate your reading my essay :-)
