I currently have braces on which mean I see and an orthodontist every 8 weeks he spends more time making sure I feel heard and taken care of which is more than can be said for this smith guy. I tried to tell smith tht I was having pain in my tooth I made a whole separate visit for this pain and once again was charged such an outrages price it made my head spin and in the end he said there is nothing wrong and when I had my orthodontist appointment I made sure to tell him about my problem and he immediately found what the issue was so clearly smith needs to do more to make sure his patients are getting actual dental care. They ladies at the front desk are so pretty but those attitudes are just as bad as smiths dental work/ bed side manner. PLEASE PLEASE don't give these people you money or time worst dentist ever!!!!!!!!!

My mother had a terrible experience with a tooth extraction. The dentist seemed inexperienced and…read moreshe didn't feel confident he drilled her tooth out completely. Then when she asked for a prescription she was told that it was available immediately at the pharmacy and refused to give her a prescription number. When she arrived at the pharmacy, she was told that the dentist hadn't sent it yet. I had to personally call twice for answers and was told two different things. First, the prescription was in the process of being sent. The second time I called I was told it would take more than an hour for it to be sent to the pharmacist. So then my 65-year-old mother had to drive back to the dentist and personally demand answers. The stress from the situation made the tooth bleed even worse. Btw, the extraction cost $500 which is an exorbitant amount considering everything that happened. Just bad communication and service from this place.

They use old equipment because the drill broke in my mouth and I swallowed the burr. They sent me to the hospital to get it taken care of and never offered to pay for the cost that I incurred from the incident. I am still being monitored today and have costs from this incident. But they were sure to collect their money I owed to them. The dentist called me, but I felt it was only because he wanted to know if I wanted to get council for what happened. When I called after leaving the hospital I asked questions and the receptionist stated she could not help and never even offered to see if the dentist could answer my questions. I have suffered further medical bills, and they did not care or offer to pay for the care I needed due to their negligence. I will never visit this dentist again because after all of the bad treatment they gave me a crown and I informed them I had trouble opening my mouth for 2 weeks after and he never even checked it out to see what may be wrong. But again, he still collected the few I owed for this awful treatment. When I went to the office, I informed the assistant I was nervous about going to the dentist, this experience has left be terrified to visit the dentist but at least they are happy because they got paid for the horrible treatment I received. The receptionist wouldn't even ask the doctor if she would make an exception. Nobody should use this location. Go somewhere they care about you being a person. Update because of aspen dental reply. 1. Tooth popped out due to denture being dropped as was stated to the receptionist. 2. This location is the first location Aspen Dental location that required a new patient exam for a denture repair. I stand by my review and that the "need" for an exam is only to inflate patient cost, and look for more services to charge for rather than performing the service needed. I let them convince me that I had neglected my teeth, so I consented to let them do it. The next week, I went in for a filling on Wednesday, which cost me another $195. The filling did not feel right, so I called them on Monday to take a look at it. He sat me in the chair, filled my mouth with instruments, where I was unable to speak, and proceeded to fill the tooth next to that one. He never asked if I wanted to fill that tooth. When he finished, he said he was sorry and I thought I was finished. As I attempted to leave, I was stopped by the receptionist and told I owed another $195 for another filling. I do not feel I was treated fairly, and no one asked my permission. All said, in 2 weeks time, I have spent $1350 there for cleaning and 2 fillings. I told them I felt that they were taking advantage of me, but they were not willing to budge. I will definitely find another dentist.
