A&M gear is common here since this is smack dab in the middle of Aggie land so I'll sometimes grab an Aggie piece of clothing or artifact for my Houston friends who are A&M alumni. An observation of mine is how clean and organized this Costco is. Not to mention the customer service is one of the better ones as it's mainly college students and Aggie graduates who are employed here. And it's not packed to the gills with people so I can shop with space and peace. Although that's probably due to coming here on late afternoon weekdays. In comparison to the ones in Houston, this one is run much better with more civilized patrons. Way to go College Station Costco!

I had switched to VFP many, many years ago and I am so glad that I did as I have always had top notch service with each and every script, which says a lot as I have 10+ scripts!! I did end up buying a rare Japanese blended whiskey for a great price; and was housed in their "unicorn items" glass case, which made me feel extra special buying it. While there I got to meet the owner and her staff which where both very accommodating and kind. They even let me try a sample of the expensive whiskey I was checking out to begin with. I was very impressed by that. Most mom and pop liquor stores won't do that, and because they did that, they've earned themselves a new loyal customer. I'm big into supporting local businesses and while I won't be able to always afford shopping there, when I can, I'll go! Another bonus for this place is they carry certain whiskeys and bourbons that the big name liquor stores don't carry. All in all a great 1st visit! Will definitely be back!
