Two women were kind enough to ask if they could help me find anything. Thank you! When I went to buy some sauerkraut-type vegetables in a jar, there was black fuzzy mold, like, the bad kind, all over the container. I told the guy about it but I got the feeling they'll just wipe it off and return it to the shelf....

I adore VFP as each and every staff member is incredibly helpful, personable and fully supportive…read moreand friendly!! I had switched to VFP many, many years ago and I am so glad that I did as I have always had top notch service with each and every script, which says a lot as I have 10+ scripts!! I enjoy utilizing their after hours call in, which I appreciate tremendously as there are times that I have 5+ refill requests which may take 3+ minutes on refills which is cumbersome. Though, I did love their grocery store too, so choosing their pharmacy wasn't a stretch for me!!!

The one star reviews of this establishment are outdated and not applicable (poor quality reviewers…read moreat that). Brookshire brothers is a beautiful grocery store that is so enjoyable to shop in, wonderful staff who are so cared for- their stories of employment there are so beautiful, it causes me catharsis every time I BB comes to mind. They have a wide selection of everything you need grocery wise. From the general unhealthy foods and snacks that most Americans won't sacrifice, to the ultra clean, minimal ingredients products me and all my mom friends prefer. The fresh cut meat looked so good today that I felt regret for my last purchase of meat proteins (from HEB). Their sirloins were so beautiful they stopped me in my tracks. Will definitely be buying my meat there next time. I almost didn't wanna leave this review because, selfishly, I don't want the masses to find the golden gems (lol), however, I would not be settled in my integrity if I were to gatekeep the glory of BB. Lastly, the culture of BB is "pro-kids". They host amazing events for kids. I'm so proud of them because they are taking action to end the old narrative of "children should be seen and not heard". As a business professional, I know you can only cultivate that type of environment when the core energy has a high moral standard. I see that standard reflected in all parts of their establishment. They have earned my respect and have earned my business. Brava Brookshire Brothers! Amazing work, thank you!

Went in 8-16-21 7:15pm, to get some lamb chops to make for dinner. I stood in front of the case for the meat and seafood and waited a while. The guy who worked the seafood and meat was behind the counter, a little off to the right. I wondered he was doing, because he hadn't even acknowledged me yet. I saw he was on his cell phone and couldn't be bothered to help me, so I walked out. That was my impression of the "wonderful" service there. ‍
