This is the regular date night place for my wife and I! The staff and cook are awesome always great to be able to meet the ones who take care of your meal. Recently we had a large lunch party for over 30ppl we let them know ahead of time and all the dishes were perfect all cooked on the spot. The Lamplighter is a good restaurant. I have eaten here twice now. On both occasions the food was good, and service was satisfactory. The first time I ate the General Tso chicken. It was as advertised. The second time I had the Orange chicken. It tasted good but was pretty much just sweet and sour chicken with an orange sauce. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating available, and it was quiet enough that we could hold a normal conversation. read more

This is my favorite place for Chinese food me and my family love it, the portions are big and price is great I love the sweet and sour chicken and my husband loves the orange chicken it's really delicious and you can't go wrong here we have been ordering out so I don't know how service is inside but food is delicious and hot and we love it. read more

I have never had a bad dish, I get carry out mostly and the one time my order was missing some stuff they made it right , I get it, mistakes happen. If you dine in, it's a nice atmosphere, the staff are attentive and courteous. I cant say enough about Lampliter, you definitely need to visit. New ownership, with a new menu and updated interior. Some of my favorite items are no longer being served, even though they were still on the menu. (e.g. Hot and sour soup). They didn't have the curry dish I wanted so I got the ribeye. Again, not up to the previous standard. read more

My experience started so good here and I really wanted to like this place. The egg rolls and hot sauce for them are some of the best I have ever had so I was pretty excited for my meal to come. Sadly the food was bad and the service was lacking. I should have known better than to order Asian food when everyone around me was eating a steak.
