I liked how they offered several salad options too, as I was missing having a big salad after traveling in Germany and Austria. Lastly, my favorite item here was actually their "Cremeschnitte" (cream sandwiched between phyllo dough); the cream was absolutely divine. The portions were large already, but I wished I had ordered two of those cakes. It was that good!

We got incredibly lucky because the restaurant really filled up and by the time we left, there was a long line down the block. Of course we had to have their Original Wiener Schnitzel, which was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We also had a Salzburger Nockerl, which is a classic Austrian soufflé dessert that is considered a culinary symbol of Salzburg. Spectacular views abound and when you get here you have a beautiful old Alm waiting to feed you and water you and get you back on your way again. A fabulous destination to aim for.
