Sorry to say that I am beyond disappointed in the service I received from Lamp Light Florist this week. I specifically decided to go through a local, small business because I wanted to make sure that charm and personality would be evident in the arrangement. I chose a beautiful bouquet from their website and set up delivery. I checked the box that said NOT to use substitutions, however, the arrangement that was delivered looked NOTHING like the bouquet I had picked out. I spent over $60 for a bouquet that looked like it was thrown together with a lot of filler and not the amount of flowers that were depicted in the picture. If they were unable to satisfy the order, the least they could have done was reach out to me to discuss. To top it all off, an email I sent to the florist was kicked back. When I called the florist to discuss my unhappiness, the person I spoke with sounded bothered. She searched for my order and was "unable to locate it". I was promised a returned call once they were able to look into it further to which I am still waiting. The lack of professionalism and customer service is so disappointing. I was looking forward to utilizing the service of this local business and was sadly mistaken. Look elsewhere for a florist to handle your flower delivery! read more

I am originally from NJ, but I now live across the country. As a small business owner myself, it's important to me that I support other small businesses (when you can, order directly with the florist of your choice, rather than go through a 3rd party!). I'm so happy I chose Lamp Light. I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to my mom on Mother's Day this year and it was SO beautiful. They even accommodated a change in the delivery date as she wasn't going to be home the day I initially requested. My mom was thrilled and even said it was the most beautiful arrangement she's ever gotten...and I've sent her plenty before. So, thank you, Lamp Light! I am off to order another arrangement for my sister, right now. :) I guess I won't be ordering that bouquet for my sister. :( Website no longers works and no one is answering. Is this placed closed? Paid $63 for dead flowers in a black vase. Tried explaining my disgust to the store, however they continued to demand payment with daily non-stop calls. (They wrote my CC number down incorrect when placing the order) NOT HAPPY. No explanation or offer of apology, just insisted the vase was clear. This was a COLORFUL and BRIGHT arrangement. I am writing this as I am fuming. Just found out today that the flower arrangement we sent when our friend died in Florida was never received. This was two months ago. We will be stopping in tomorrow to demand our money back. I am so embarrassed that our good friend probably thought we did not care enough to send anything. This is the second time we have used this florist and this has happened. The first time we sent flowers to my mother-in-law for her birthday and they were not delivered when they said they would be. It took several days of back and forth between this florist and the out of town florist she worked with. Needless to say, once I might believe was a mix up, but twice?? Awful. Avoid. Ordered a "deluxe" birthday arrangement five days in advance; specified a morning delivery. No show by 12:30 prompted a phone call since no one would be available to receive the arrangement in the afternoon. I was told that morning delivery was on the order but "the girl" who handles that "didn't highlight it" so it was "missed". I was then asked if leaving it on the front porch was okay if no one was at home since "that's what [they] normally do". Arrangement was already out for delivery and when it finally did arrive, after having to alter the day's plans waiting on the delivery, it was brought to the door not even having been wrapped in plastic. The "deluxe" arrangement was ridiculous; tiny, missing two of the flower types specified in the description without any comparable replacement, arrangement was lop-sided, did not come in pink cube as described, Lily flowers were already wilting at the tips. When your business is centered on providing great customer service, meeting deadlines, and providing a fresh and adequate product, you should really try getting it right. There is absolutely no excuse for not having fresh flowers when your wholesaler is five minutes from your business; it's an embarrassment. read more

My husband received a fruit basket that came from this establishment after his surgery with crackers that expired over one year ago. They were rancid and disgusting. Called the store and they said they'd be out to replace them and they never did. Not good business...guess they just don't care. Typical. read more
