I put a $210 payment down and then went on my way. Three days passed and the representative gave me a call explaining that an accident had been discovered on my record from a year prior. She informed me that I had to pay a $65 fee to keep my insurance. The manager of firm "offered" to split this with me, which sounded rather strange. I decided to call the insurance company to find out more. Rather than being honest, the young lady told me an accident had been found and that was the only reason my insurance was being raised.. she failed to divulge that in reality she entered the completely wrong birthday for my quote (which we both confirmed several times). Not just date, or year.. but all three. My insurance was going to now be a "quoted" amount of $158.00 a month. They demanded that I provide paperwork showing that I was not in the accident (since it wasn't me and they provided the incorrect information for my driving record check). I refused informing them that if they re-run the record the correct information would come up (which did one I went to Gieco). A few days passed and I decided to call back. This time they informed me that my actual insurance would cost $178.00 a month.. much more than originally "quoted." I couldn't easily fit this into my strict budget and explained that I would have to cancel. This is all due to the fact that Fiesta Auto Insurance wouldn't correctly enter my information (lack of competence) and then lied about the mistake (lack of professionalism). I called the manager at another branch and he rudely told me the "down payment" is not refundable and theres nothing I can do for you. Unfortunately for him, I'm going to get my money back.. not if.. but when. Don't go here. I ended up getting a policy with Gieco for $109.00 a month.. these ghetto insurance places are not cheaper.. btw, the actual insurance company informed me that of the 280 I spent.. only 150 of it actually went to the insurance.. meaning Fiesta pocketed 130 from me by being incompetent and unprofessional. Go elsewhere.. even Costuless is betterthan this place!

I've been a AAA roadside assistance member for over 10 years, and what happened last night left me…read morecompletely disappointed. My wife locked the keys in our car while we were at our son's baseball game on the outskirts of Modesto. I requested roadside assistance and was given an estimated arrival time of 60 minutes. As the timer ran down, I went out to the parking lot so I wouldn't miss the driver. The timer reached zero, and about 15 minutes later, no one had arrived or given us an update. I called AAA. The representative I spoke with was rude, put me on hold to check the arrival time, and then told me it would be at least another hour. I was frustrated, and the call was transferred to a supervisor. The supervisor told me that because of my frustration and the inaccurate arrival estimate, they were canceling my roadside assistance and blocking me from requesting it again for the rest of the night. I tried to submit another request, but it was canceled repeatedly--about six times. That left my family stranded with no help from the service I'd paid for. I've rarely needed AAA: my last call was for a jump-start more than three years ago, with another long stretch of no use before that. After more than a decade as a member, I couldn't believe they handled a lockout this way. I spent this morning on the phone with AAA and received a full refund for the roadside assistance they failed to provide. I won't be renewing or recommending AAA. And thank you to the guy I found through Facebook who actually showed up and unlocked our car for $40.
