We caught it before things got worst and we did what any homeowner would do. We did the right thing. We called the after hours #. We were connected to a field agent by the name of RICHARD aka RICK DAY #209-604-6643. He came out the next day to argue, criticize and belittle us in the presence of others. We took time off from work to seek help from our Agent, Scott Montez. We keep getting the run around and they're telling us that the problem is now ours since we did the right thing. Although 'the pipe burst' made us aware of the problem. All other existing leaks are now ours since they have not burst yet. WE TURNED THE WATER OFF. "That's where we made the mistake" WE should've just let everything explode/ burst. Because then we would have been covered. We've had several outside quotes and inspections; Innovations, Roto Rooter, Johnson's Plumbing Company, Reputation Builder's & Handyman Services, A-1 Quality Plumbing & Service Master. All reputable companies. And they all ALL AGREED with us. We should be covered by Farmer's Insurance company. All Individual inspections. WOW! Shame on us for doing the right thing. We prevented potential harm to someone's life and property and the collapse of the ceiling. We prevented the water heater from rupturing. All our hard work, time and money invested in our home now, ALL seems like for nothing. In closing Farmer's Insurance company failed us and they will do the same to you. Beware! Do your homework. Don't do business with Farmer's Insurance companies. They will do the same to you. Farmer's Insurance is out to make money, NOT HELP YOU. Linda in Modesto, CA.

If I could give zero stars I would. All the other negative reviews for Neil are unfortunately…read moreaccurate. My husband and I had the same horrible experience. Neil takes it upon himself to make changes to your policy as HE sees fit, not what we request. My husband and I purchased two vehicles. We did our due diligence reporting the changes and requesting he update our auto policy. Not only did he not update our vehicles but when I logged on to the portal I was taken off the policy completely until next month (three weeks away). His excuse was that he did what was best for us financially- ok great, but, but that's not what we asked for. We were looking for accuracy. The last thing I need is to get pulled over and not be able to provide up to date, accurate insurance of the vehicle I own and I'm driving. Unfortunately, it was a series of poor decisions he made that sealed the deal for us to take ALL of our policies elsewhere. Not only did he blow us off for nearly three weeks, but he took it upon himself to make changes to our policies without consulting us. He told my husband one thing and did another. When I called to get clarification he all but damn near hung up on me and told me he was on vacation in Hawaii. Umm, ok, then why did you have all your local OFFICE PHONE NUMBER calls be forwarded to your cell phone when you're on vacation?? Why were you happy to talk to me until I pressed for answers to questions we had asked multiple times in the last 3 weeks??? We finally made the decision to switch agents (to someone with five star reviews), he sent us an email belittling us and telling us he was disappointed in our decision. We were shocked. We took a couple days to decide if we were going to reply. When we did, it was a simple, we are also disappointed, but we had to make a decision in our best interest. Ooh, that really must have made him mad because he shot back with a nasty passive aggressive response. So, here we are, writing this review and hey, Neil, if you decide to reply to us on this forum and deny anything I will post pics of proof (screenshots) so that you don't treat anyone else like crap as soon as you get caught and called on your unprofessionalism. Oh also, I recommend you stop requesting on FB. pretty creepy to request me but not my husband, who you've known for over 18 years.
