Love this place! Local honey, maple syrup, soaps, and candles. Great for gift shopping. Highly recommend supporting this small business.

This is my favorite farmstand in town. I have been going here for about 20 years. Everything is…read morefresh everything is amazing everything is local. It is so nice to see a family farm that is still up and running in this day and age. They used to do pick your own strawberries but not anymore, it really was one of the most amazing experiences to go there and pick fresh berries. This farm is a wonderful place to get plants and flowers in the spring fresh fruits and vegetables in the summer pumpkins in the winter and Christmas trees in the holiday season. It is a true gem run by some of the most amazing and hard-working people you would ever meet in your life. I have spoken with the owners many times and they will go out of their way to assist you and to get specialty items for you from wholesale market that you can't get anywhere else if you so request. We buy all of our flowers for a home here, all of our vegetable throughout the year, beautiful pies for special occasions and they even sometimes sell home grown turkeys in the fall. Everything is homegrown and you absolutely cannot go wrong. For a farm to table fresh experience this is the place in central Connecticut to shop

Five Stars! We had such a great experience here! The service…read morewas excellent our waitress was so friendly, had great manners, and made us feel welcome right away. As soon as we sat down, they brought us bread immediately which was a nice touch. We started with the meatballs and they were so good full of flavor and cooked perfectly. For pizza, we ordered a margarita pizza and a cheese pizza, and the margarita was absolutely delicious. We split a Caesar salad salad, and my husband had the truffle bisque. For our main, the kids loved the homemade mac & cheese, and my husband ordered the pork chop... he cleaned his entire plate! I had the Chicken Parm Brooklyn with vodka sauce and cherry peppers and WOW it was amazing. So flavorful and the cherry peppers gave it the perfect kick. Not too spicy! I'm more of a buffalo spicy kind of a gal. We also shared the Brussels sprouts with aïoli and they were delicious too. Deff would re order. Portions were definitely big, which we loved we ended up taking food home. And to top it all off, we tried the butterscotch dessert and ate it so fast there wasn't even time for a photo We'll definitely be back!!!!!

I have been going to Max a Mia for a long time (previous location)…read more I have been to the new location 10 time this year & always order the same delicious BEETS & BURRATA & - first so delicious so & I kept going back with different friends so they could try this dish & it's never the same.. 1. Missing the charred sweet onion agrodolce many time (which gives it the flavor) 2. last time I mention it the cook threw some white plain cooked onion on it & said that's THAT THE BEST I CAN DO!! 3. sometimes the serving is very small nothing like it was in the beginning .................. 4. BUT THE LAST TIME WAS THE WORST - INSTEAD OF BARRATA BALL (which is the main part of the dish) THEY SUBSTITUTED WITH A MOZZARELLA BALL - can it get any worse than that!!!!! I will be calling the restaurant about this to complain trust I never complain but this has gone on too long 5. Plus one of the times I was there with a friend (new to her) & our waiter (young male) keep coming back to our table every 5 minutes to see if we were done eating trying to rush us along so he could get his tip because his shift was ending (it was embarrassing & disturbing) finally he wanted us to pay our check (and we were not done eating) so he could get his tip (bill finalized) it ruined our meal
