Since he left, there are some new faces, and a couple of them have been helpful. Unfortunately, the employee I encounter most often doesn't seem very engaged. When I ask for assistance, she typically points me to the aisle and leaves me to sort through the many options on my own. On my most recent visit, she was sitting at the counter on her phone as I walked into the store, found the products I needed in two different aisles, and returned to the register. She didn't notice I was there until I set my items on the counter, at which point she turned around to help me. I'll continue shopping here because I like the store and its products, but I'll also be looking at other retailers where I can receive more product guidance and customer service.

Many if not most e-liquids need a little time to age or steep before they develop their full flavor. There are many videos on YouTube detailing different techniques, but I have had good results by shaking the bottle until there are lots of little bubbles in the liquid and then leaving it with the lid open in a dark place. Shake and repeat every 12-24 hours. Give it a taste every day until the flavor is what you want. Most liquids will only take two or three days, but some can take much longer.
