She then added things on the bill and I was charged for more stuff when I left. These people are dishonest and clearly strapped for cash. Then, I was billed for both visits separately--one as a re-establishment of care, and one as a physical. In reality, it felt like the same appointment split in two for billing purposes. This practice appears to be more focused on maximizing insurance billing than providing transparent, patient-centered care. I asked for an explanation but received no clear justification, just vague responses. This experience felt deceptive and unfair. I will not be returning, and I recommend others ask very specific questions about how their appointments will be categorized and billed to avoid being taken advantage of.
