Ron also had some really helpful information about lead paint, as we are remodeling an old house. Then, for the install, Keith helped us. He was better than we could have hoped for. He really knew his stuff. We had weird storm windows on the house before, so when he took them off there was an open section that needed to be covered. He cut the new vinyl trim on-site, and fit it all together with our totally-not-level 100 year old house. It makes a world of difference. Keith also showed us how to operate our new windows, because I had never used the tilt-in type of window before. So again, a great experience from start to finish. The owner of D&G went so far as to contact the county I live in, another neighboring county along with the city I live in all in an effort to prove he had no liability for the damage done during the replacement of the roof. I also had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get the refund check from the company for the unused materials I had paid for upfront. All in all, I would not recommend the company due to poor customer service I received after the owner insured he was paid for the job in full within 3 days of completion.

What could be salvaged was roughly caulked back together, and the remaining pieces were left broken. In addition, the drywall on the interior around the window was damaged and never repaired. I reached out to the company afterward and was very polite and respectful when speaking with the owner. Unfortunately, she was short and dismissive. I made it clear I wasn't attacking her company or the tech. In fact the tech was a nice guy. I simply wanted the issue resolved. After several text exchanges, I was either ignored or told she would get back to me, which never happened. I would share before-and-after photos if the platform allowed it, as they clearly show the damage caused. Overall, the lack of quality workmanship and poor follow-up made this a very disappointing experience.

Once we made the decision for Provia, Jennifer, office manger, kept us informed as there was about a 3-month waiting period. She too was great to work with. The windows arrived and the install team was fantastic. Doug, Wayne, Wes and Rick were all very friendly, prompt, courteous, and did a quality install job. As they found problems, they went out of their way to fix them. In one case, the board under one of the large windows was completely rotten. They went to Lowes and fix the issue the very same day it was discovers. We definitely recommend Doug and the entire install team as well as Mike and Nick.

So it comes back (a month later after multiple calls) at nearly $26,000 for some windows, few doors and patch of siding. After comparing them to my other estimates I had a range of $12-16,000 and then this outlier and overpriced BS from this company. Today I get a cold call to see if I still want the work done and they are holding the estimate at the old price. C'mon now, you don't think I still need that works done do ya? Was the receptionist so damn bored that she decided to cold call? I doubt it. At prices that effing high they have to call the customers instead of having a business so good the customer calls you. I got my work done and more for half their price and better quality. No BS!
