After spending enough time there, I've gotten to know almost everyone by name--including the security crew. They are exactly what great security should be: friendly, welcoming, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone has a good time. And when someone decides the evening should revolve around them instead of the other hundred people trying to enjoy themselves, they handle it firmly, calmly, and without drama. Keeping a place fun sometimes means escorting an asshole to the exit, and they do it with remarkable professionalism. The bartenders keep things moving even when it's packed. The servers somehow manage to stay upbeat in the middle of controlled chaos. There is a donation for the food to help the cooks pay for the ingredients of this amazing home made food they provide to the bar customers. The soup and chicken Adobe was amazing. Some guy at the bar was like," hey that's the ladies room!" I stuck my head out the door and said," I know, thanks."
