She sat down with me before we she started and got a good idea of what I wanted to do with my hair, the texture and how much time I spend on my hair everyday. I have curly hair and have been following the Curly Girl Method. Amy was very familiar with the method and actually cut my hair dry which is the norm for cutting curly hair. She did a great job cutting my long hair into a lob and the balayage color. She styled my hair and I left a very happy camper. The salon charges based on a level system and Amy is a level 3 stylist. The salon overall is very nice and offer all types of different services, not just hair. I had a great experience and I will be back!

I arrived on time for my 9 AM appointment, but the salon wasn't fully prepared and was still getting ready. I went in with an idea of what I wanted. I showed a picture of the haircut to my stylist and she assured she could do it. Diana didn't engage in conversation but responded to my inquiries when I asked. Since she had another appointment, she only had time to give me the haircut. Despite my punctuality for the appointment, I had to switch to another stylist to have my hair done. I believe it was Elana who set my hair. The heat during the styling felt slightly intense. I've been a patron of another well-known salon in Canton for the past few years. Taki come close to achieving the desired result, but there are still some minor adjustments needed. Hoping this review will encourage them to make those improvements. Despite these minor issues, I'm giving a 4-star rating because I achieved the exact look I wanted. Diana gave a nice haircut and Elona styled it the way I wanted. In response to the questions I posed, Elona offered her expert guidance and recommendations. Overall, I am happy with the result and very reasonable prices.

If you think you've seen thick hair, you haven't seen mine. This is what stylists consistently have…read moresaid to me throughout my entire life. And I've had a lot of really disappointing cuts. It's very hard for me to find a stylist who understands, and can manage, my hair type. It's thick, but not super coarse. It's curly. It's a lot. And I have a lot of empathy for the women and men who have had to try to work miracles on it throughout the years. But where many have failed (despite valiant efforts) this unassuming, affordable little salon has CONSISTENTLY nailed cuts for my hair type. I saw Lana for awhile until she moved on. When I went to see Hailey, I was nervous, because I've historically had to REALLY negotiate the laws of physics with stylists new to my hair to achieve even remotely what I want in a cut. Hailey just took one look at my hair and said "This is gonna be so fun," and that's when I knew that lightning would strike twice and it did. I went from long, thick, wavy hair to a really cute french bob that hits in ALL the right places because Hailey knows what she's doing. They all do, as far as evidence suggests. I've never had a bad cut here. There is something about this modest and unassuming location that attracts really master stylists. My hair is troublesome and I've NEVER had a bad cut in this little salon. Not a single one. And bonus, after you're done, you can go get some incredible corned beef next door :D
