Shockingly, they called me the day before (November 28th), falsely claiming I missed an appointment, and I would not be allowed to book with them in the future. I was extremely apologetic and disappointed with their punitive policy. I have been a loyal client and was extremely surprised that I would miss an appointment. I later confirmed through my email that the error was on their end. What's worse, my attempts to clarify via phone and email were met with unresponsiveness. Beware of this salon's unprofessionalism and questionable business practices. Save yourself the hassle and find a more reliable and customer-friendly establishment. Lash extension is a luxury service and these dire economic times, I'm shocked that businesses wouldn't value customers.

When I first got my classic set completed by Sommer, I was 100% satisfied! Excellent ambience, friendly customer service, happy with lashes! So I kept returning for my refills. Then, there was one day I arrived to Flirt Custom Lash and one of the other ladies did my refill, and I was not happy at all. There was too much glue applied to my lashes, thus damaging them. It took me a while to restore my lashes back.

I almost had a stroke when I saw part of the fake lashes saying farewells while taking mine down too... After redeeming with Yelp, I picked up Wax and Lashes with JJ as my rescuer. Her Web Site is very attractive; the reviews about her work gave me confidence, I found the pictures very artistic, she fit me in her schedule to remove my disgrace, and try to hide the damage the same day. She was really passionate as well as knowledgeable on her craft. I got instant empathy with her because she was extremely friendly, meticulous, plus we share the same birthday (yei). Her bubbly personality made me laugh several times (recommendation: stop by the washroom before laying down). I loved the results and the fact that she also dislikes rap and Drake (good tunes during the whole process). Her magic filled the empty spaces, gave me volume, length, and the promise of putting more lashes when mine grow back. I felted spoiled when I got a 10% off, a cappuccino on her behalf, and no attitude although I was 10 minutes late... (Sorry) Ah, she shares the space with freelance stylists, so if you manage to schedule, you could have one of those marathon beauty days (hair, bye hair, and hello lashes). In here you can also purchase an almost miraculous serum to grow your real lashes called EyEnvy, cool no?

Heidi made sure to explain the process fully and carefully created the colour that I was looking to achieve. To help her with the colour I had in mind, I brought the lip tint that I normally used. She then crafted the colour with her pigments and ensured that I was happy with the colour prior to applying it. Keeping in mind that everyone's pain tolerance level is different, I did not feel uncomfortable or in pain during the actual process (numbing cream was used before the process begun). Heidi made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire lip blushing process. Upon completion, she thoroughly explained the healing and aftercare process. Again, keeping in mind that everyone's skin will react differently, my lips were pretty swollen after. However, as advised by Heidi, the swelling subsided after 2 days and the whole healing process took about 6 days for all the scabs to come off. Thank you Heidi for doing such a wonderful job!

While browsing places to get microblading done for my mom, I came across Oh My Lash and Brow on Yelp. What stood out the most, were the before and after pictures of Heidi's previous clientele. Add in the $250 for $450 voucher and the relative close distance to my house, and I was sold. Next, it was easy calling in and making an appointment for the next day; and Heidi gave useful directions over the phone, for getting to her unit number within the plaza - she is located on the second floor; & once you get up the stairs, there are large signs above each door in the hallway letting you know of which business is which. The overall process took about 3 hours, with the majority of the time being spent on the pre-procedure tasks including: initial information session on microblading, consultation, and sketching of the eyebrows. My mother is a very picky woman so they had to be perfect before we could move on haha - I appreciate Heidi's patience. The actual procedure took anywhere from 30-60 minutes and a lot of numbing agent is applied to the area before and during the procedure to eliminate any pain sensations. Heidi also continually checked in with my mom asking her if she was ok and/or feeling any pain. Another great point to mention was Heidi's obvious knowledge and experience performing this procedure. She gave us plenty of information in the beginning regarding risks, signs of infection to look for following the procedure, and she was sure to explain the sterility of the microblading tools she would be using. [Cool to note that she even staples the freshly opened package to each client's consult form.] With my mom and I both being nurses, we were very happy to see that detail and attention were put into the health safety of the procedure, which involves needles and the breakage of skin, therefore carrying a high potential of transmission of infections. Overall, my mom and I were very happy with the results, the entire process and this wonderful microblading experience with Heidi. She gifted us with another voucher to help spread the word and I will definitely be sure to pass it to a friend. It is well worth the time and money spent! Thank you again Heidi for your professional and courteous service, we will see you again in 3 months time for the first follow-up!

Both my sister in law and I drove from the east end all the way to Vaughan to get our lashes done because we got a great promo deal via Groupon and their work on Instagram looked pretty good. Location: it was a little confusing to get here, but if you look for the TB Tax sign in the plaza, you're in the right spot. There is free parking available and it's a fairly large lot. The salon itself is up a pretty steep flight of stairs and there wasn't an elevator as far as I could tell. It is NOT baby stroller or wheel chair friendly. The space itself is small, clean and pretty. I liked the little touches, like the glitz on the hand towel in the bathroom, and the huge fluffy pillow on the couches. There is no separate area for waiting and treatment, so if you're shy about being beautified with a possible audience, be warned. Mind you, when we visited, there was one other girl finishing up before us and we basically had the place to ourselves. This was great because I had to bring my 8 month old daughter with me and she is a giggly little thing that babbles quite loudly some times. Nicole did both my lashes and my SIL's lashes, although she received an HD set for a 20$ upgrade fee. It was totally worth it if you have a lot of lashes because it looked fabulous on her. I have much shorter and sparser lashes so I stuck with a more natural look. The thing I loved was that I literally just said, "Hey, I just don't want to wear mascara on vacation and still look bright eyed in photos..." and she just knew what to do based on my lash length and eye shape. I also wear glasses so it was important that I didn't get cartoonishly long lashes that bumped my lenses. The lashes were soft and didn't feel stiff to the touch. I left with a little pink pouch with some aftercare instructions and a pink mascara wand to keep the lashes brushed. The lashes held up pretty decently without any refills, even after about four weeks. I've always been pretty good about lash care, but this vacation had been pretty hectic so I hadn't brushed them as much as I normally would and they still looked full, albeit a bit tangled by the end of the day. I'd say they looked pretty good at up until about the six week mark, after which there were just too many lashes that had fallen off. This, however, far exceeded my expectations. Overall, I'd recommend this place, particularly if you live in the area. I don't think I'd be returning regularly only because it's such a trek from my place, but Nicole did a great job and knows what she's doing when it comes to lash extensions.

I wanted to look for someone local and Natalia's business, "Girls'n Lashes" was in Etobicoke, which was perfect for me. I checked her website and liked the fact that "Girls'n Lashes" was not a salon, but ONLY specialized in lashes! Natalia has a passion for ONLY eyelash extensions. I purchased a Groupon for a full set plus a fill in. I called her and she quickly called me back and we easily made the appointment for my first set of full lashes. I was quite eager to get in, as most women would understand, losing your hair can be distressing, and I was booked in, no problem, and my fill in was booked 2 weeks later. Natalia was not only beautiful, (not that that should matter), but kind, courteous, polite, friendly and professional. She was very sympathetic and understanding about my hair loss and was certain that she could help me. "Girls'n Lashes" was clean and cute and just perfect. Natalia kindly explained what the experience would be like and feel like, being a first timer. She provided such a relaxing environment with quiet and calming music. She was so very gentle with the application of the lashes. She has such a gentle touch! I even think I may have fallen asleep at one point I was that relaxed! (You lay down with your eyes closed during the entire application process). The full set came with I think 40 or 50 lashes per eye and she said I could buy extra if I wanted them. But when I got up to look in the mirror, I had a BEAUTIFUL set of gorgeous, full, natural looking lashes!!! I did not need to purchase any more!! She even put the extra ones on the end that are supposed to be called "wing-tips" that make you look extra flirty when you bat your eyelashes!! They are stunning!!! And with THESE LASHES you don't even NEED to wear mascara!!! Please understand ladies who are all reading this and possible customers of "Girls'n Lashes" and of Natalia, they are not the oversized, "spider" looking, false looking lashes! They look like your own! She chooses the right size and shape for you and won't go pass a certain length that is unnatural looking for you! This wonderful girl has standards for her business!! Natalia and "Girls'n Lashes" now has a forever client in me!! Because I think that even when I am over my alopecia and my own natural full lashes have grown back, I think I may have already grown addicted to this even fuller lash look!! :) Thank you Natalia, for helping to make me feel beautiful again!!!
