There was a little accident during our meal though that involved a spill and some stains on my and my wife's clothes/shoes, but stuff happens and they did right by us. Excellent service and even better food. My only complaint is that my wife and I didn't come back a 2nd time before going home :(

The food is ready on time. The Kabuli pulao is great. The rice is fluffy, the meat is falling off the bone, and every bite is flavorful. The chapli kebab is soft and juicy. It hits all the spots. The chicken charsi karahi is okay at best but you can't have all you want. I haven't dine in inside so I have no idea about the ambiance but the food is great so I will eat it under a bridge if I have to. 4.1/5 definitely recommend!

Not sure though about a picture of the local MP eating here with the stock of MPs being at a historic low. It feels like a family restaurant with a lot of functional tables in the dining area and in common with most of the Upper Tooting restaurants, an open kitchen. I loved watching the chef make my roti in the tandoor oven. A bad start as they didn't have onion bhajis, my first choice starter and the mango lassi tasted artificial, possibly from a bottle. However, the methi gosht had nice spicing - fenugreek I think being the predominant flavour - and the lamb was tender. The roti was light and a good foil. 3.5 stars but not quite enough to tip it into 4 stars at the moment.
