It's been at least a decade since I've played this course, and I was pleasantly surprised. The course itself plays short, but they make it up with difficult hole placements and fast greens. It's cash only, which is beyond annoying, but at $46 for 18 holes with a cart, I can't complain too much. Speaking of carts, they are old and slow, and in fact, one of ours broke down during our round, but maintenance was out within 10 minutes to get us a replacement. The hot dogs are great and they charge $16 for a 6 pack of beer which is more than reasonable. Every staff member we interacted with were incredibly friendly including the starter. read more

Horrible place of business. Had 4 with 2 that barely play, we were taking just as long as the guys in front of us would let us play (not to be on their @s$,) one staff member approached us and asked us to skip through a nice looking hole saying we were slow. The guys in front just finished up. The 2 that barely played decided to sit while the other two played. 2 shots and on the green, that is when the owner showed up screaming, the owner could not control his emotion and temper, threatened to fight us. Had to scream loud enough for everyone on the course to know that he his the owner. (probably pees on his shoes at the urinal.) One guy told him he had a rep of doing this. (from the comments apparently he does have a reputation.) Once we finally got back to hole 9 around the club house his girlfriend made him come out and apologize to us. offered us a beer. none of us to it. If I broke down next to this business I would try my luck crossing RT 8 before ever talking to these people again. read more

Very short, fun course with well maintained greens. Very pure in the middle of the summer. However, I was -4 after 9 holes and wasn't allowed to play the back because no one wanted to work after 730 pm. I would've loved setting the course record here, but I guess we'll never know. read more

The course is nice & the fees are reasonable; however, the owner is rude to his PAYING customers. So much so that I'll never return there again. Yelling at customers is unacceptable, especially when they've done nothing wrong. Won't be back. read more

Great place to go for an early round of golf. Built on the Allegheny Forest, it is hilly with some holes running the length of large hills. Can be crazy with the driver. Overall, nice course and will play again. read more

Lots of competition on Hwy 8 with four courses within a couple miles. This is a good choice, not overly busy usually and it was in very good shape when I visited. Particularly impressed with the bunkers, excellent sand and easy to play out of them. Frankly they compared well to the last time I played on Hilton Head Island. Lots of leaves this late in the season made the ball hard to find at times. read more

Me and 3 of my friends went here to golf. For 2 of us it was our first time golfing. Everything started off fine besides the fact that the lady at the desk was rude. We started and everything was going fine, it took a little longer because there were 4 of us and 2 who have never golfed. There was never anyone we were holding up, there were not really any golfers around us. We payed for 9 holes and when we got to 8th the lady came out telling us we had to leave and couldn't finish because we were taking to long. There was nobody behind us so we didn't understand why we were being kicked out. She was so rude, but we took the carts back after the 8th hole and asked for some money back because we didn't get to finish. After fighting with us for a while she decided to give us money back for 1 hole. This was a horrible first experience and we will never be going back. read more

Nice place but avoid on busy days. Owner likes to micromanage the players through the green. Has good intentions and Is really nice but too stressful to golf with him coaching people through the course. Not a relaxing golf environment. read more

Played the course today. Kudos to the management and the greens keeper. The course keeps improving. I do suggest that they switch the nines. The first few holes go directly east and directly into the sun making early morning tee times difficult. read more

Since the first hole me and my friends were followed and told to hurry by attendants driving lawn mowers, after the 15th hole a man and his son on a tractor(clearly employees) threatened to call the police on us for reckless driving. So we decided to leave. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND. A very toxic environment. No one was friendly. read more

Multiple carts ran out of gas or died in the middle of course, owner has no people skills. The landscaping crew had zero respect for people trying to hit.. never really had a problem here until today. read more
