This hotel has been one of the cleanest, rooms are cleaned and made everyday. The workers are constantly cleaning. I've seen them sanitize the elevator, steam clean the communal furnitures and house keeping was on her knees scrubbing the bathtub! Talk about cleanliness! One of the few hotels that didn't give me the icks! They have complimentary breakfast daily, which I didn't partake in but appreciated. Coffee and hot tea is offered throughout the day. Beds were comfy and came with both firm and soft pillows. The hotel is perched on a hill too, so the views are amazing. There's a lot of restaurants close by, Knoxville is 40 mins away, Dollywood 1hr 20 mins, Nashville 2 hours, and buc-ees is 30mins away! The first day I stayed there, I was too jet lagged to go anywhere and I swear I heard coyotes or monkeys or something, creeped me out lol - think the hills have eyes! I definitely would recommend this hotel if you want to be in between Knoxville and Nashville!

I am currently staying at the HI, and it's one thing after the other with this damn place!! 1st, they booked us for Thursday-Sunday, when I specifically asked for a Monday checkout. Get here and they charge me an extra $163!!! Then. Every single time I leave the room, when we get back in the evening, my damn keys don't work!! And they blame it on ME!! That's I'm placing the close to my cell phone or mobile device of some kind!! I literally held them in my hand, and placed them in the glovebox of the car!!! They came to clean the room, but left us no toilet paper. Now if I want TP, I have to walk down to reception and get some!!! Lady, I gotta poop! I ain't got time to walk down there and get it!! Overall this experience has been absolutely horrible!! They really dropped the ball on this one! They ruined my experience with Tennesee. We are just here for my sons wedding, and they've made it miserable!!! 0 stars if I could.....

My stay at the Motel 6 in Kingston was disappointing and unnecessarily complicated, especially…read morefollowing a traumatic experience at another Motel 6 earlier that day. When I arrived, it took a long time for anyone to come to the front desk. The owner eventually appeared and listened while I explained what I had just gone through, which I appreciated initially. However, the stay itself quickly became concerning. I had booked a King non-smoking room through the My6 app, with all of my information--including two dogs--clearly uploaded in advance. I was told that the room I reserved was not available and was placed into a double non-smoking room instead, which I was charged extra for, despite it being a downgrade from my original reservation. I was also charged additional pet deposits, even though my pets were already disclosed in the My6 system and I was asked again at check-in. Multiple extra charges were added with little clarity upfront, which made the experience feel disorganized and disconcerting. Only after I mentioned that I intended to leave a review and contact Motel 6 corporate did the tone change. At that point, discounts were suddenly applied and things became more transparent--but this should have been the case from the beginning, not after the fact. The room itself was another issue. Neither the sink nor the bathtub had stoppers, making it impossible to take a bath. While washing my face, I nearly lost my ring down the sink, which was unsettling. The bathroom showed visible wear: peeling paint on the tile, which raised questions about maintenance and cleanliness. The overall appearance felt cheap and poorly finished. The closet contained exposed wire and flimsy plastic hangers, the kind typically given away for free, which contrasted sharply with the owner's repeated emphasis on how many hotels his family owns. Most concerning, the sheets and towels were yellowed, to the point where I did not feel comfortable using them. I ended up sleeping in my sleeping bag on top of the bed instead. This stay could--and should--have been straightforward. Instead, it involved delays, room changes, unexpected charges, and a room that did not feel properly maintained or prepared for guests.

We got our usual room and noticed a huge gap in door where hinges didn't seem to be properly installed. The shower was backing up and spraying water from the pull nozzle. Also killed four bugs the first night and only night there. I think they came from the gap in door. Floor was filthy. Fridge defrosted or went out I left after cleaning up the water in the floor. The room was no where near clean as it used to be. Needless to say I'm going to have to find another place to stay for games.we had the room for the weekend but left early couldn't deal!!! The new owner seemed nice tho.

The spikes on the roof are not keeping them from roosting there. It said the room had a mountain view, but it was more like a hill with a house on it that faced directly towards my window so I kept the shade closed. The bathroom was clean and stocked with the exception of the tissue box, which was empty. The bed was comfortable and the TV is huge. The hot breakfast wasn't very good at all so I skipped that on the second day. The lady taking care of it was very nice. The eggs must have been powdered, so not much could be done about that. The sausage was ok, but the biscuits were almost hard as rocks and next to impossible to cut thru with plastic utensils, so 95% of it went in the trash. The parking is tiered with about five or so handicapped spots by the door. The rest of the parking is on the lower tier and accessed by either a short staircase or up the driveway. If you do need handicapped parking and don't get there early enough for those spots you'll have to navigate what I described on foot if you're by yourself. I was out much of the day and came back mid evening only to find that a bad storm had passed through and all cell service was out. No texting or phone calls. The night clerk was nice enough to let me use the desk phone to let home know I arrived back to the hotel after a very long day. It was very kind of her.

I checked in as a walk in as I was driving from Ohio to Florida and just needed a break as I was getting a headache and starting to get tired. The from desk person was very polite and took great care of me. I got to my room unpacked things for the shower in the morning and got my clothes out. Turned on the A/C to a sleep able 68 degrees and climbed into bed. About 1-2am the A/C started to make horrible noise. Sadly my head was not better so instead of me going down to change rooms I just turned off the A/C. I woke up around 5am getting warm as expected. Sadly still had a headache so I took some meds got up to shower. Here is the only real complaint: the shower drain did not seem to work at all. As I took my shower the water just kept going. I got dressed and packed. Went down put my stuff in my car, walked back in to grab breakfast, now I normally do not eat at hotels. But I didn't want to stop anywhere else as I just filled up with gas right below the hotel. I got a biscuit, sausage, and some eggs and made a sandwich. I will say the biscuits were not hard, they were perfect, the sausage was not over cooked, the eggs were Powdered but not bad. To top it off the coffee was good. I mean not amazing but good. I have had a lot worse at hotels and I took a cup with me for the drive. I did tell the front desk about the room and they put it on the list to fix as well as tell me I should have came down to change rooms. Which I knew and told them so, but I also knew I just needed to sleep so for the A/C I take the blame. The drain should have been found in my opinion. I gave the 4 stars because I feel most were not on them and the place is very clean. The drain is my only real complaint. I would stay here again.

I was here with my friends from Ohio just in case they want to say I didn't stay here. The employee took it upon himself to unplug the chord and was rolling it up. I guess he was going to put it on the boat but our equipment is isn't cheap and we would rather have unplugged it and took care of the issue.
