This is one of the most charming country B&Bs I've ever seen. A little country inn it is NOT. It is a sprawling property in the most idyllic scenery on the shores of the Tennessee River, and has ten or so meticulously maintained cottages, houses and even land for sale. It has the honor of being one of America's Inns of Distinction, and solidly deserves that reputation. Everything here was in order and absolutely impeccable. The Whitestone is owned by very religious (Christian) people and it makes no bones about its orientation. Nevertheless, is a most welcoming place for all people of all walks of life. Entering the several thousand-acre property, one goes through a carriage house and then up a hill to an old schoolhouse for check-in. There are golf carts, things to do for the kids, things to do for adults, and the meals are absolutely wonderfully prepared, down country cooking with a classy touch. An amazing place. Steps away from Knoxville, the Smokies, not far from Nashville and Chattanooga The perfect place to relax

We love this place. It is our 3rd time to stay here and the food is awesome! The resort is so beautiful and a restful relaxing place to stay! The views are gorgeous. I recommend this for anyone wanting a great place to relax and great food!

    Amazing

I work here and this place is amazing. They treat everyone that stays here great but not only that their employees get treated like family as well. It's a beautiful place I mean the scenery is just absolutely amazing it's breath taking. I've been here for Lil bit and even though I work here if I needed to take a break from everything I would stay here. So if u want or need a stress free, breath taking beautiful place to get away from everything for the weekend u are to coach this place out.

When you arrive, Lynn will give you a tour of the place, give you instructions and your special key code to get in and out as you please, and lastly, bring you to your room. We have stayed in two different rooms and our favorite is the spacious room upstairs with the en-suite bathroom. Room amenities include: extra towels, pillows, and blankets, a fan, a white noise machine, smart T.V., luggage stand, and a binder of useful information. Each morning, Lynn serves a continental breakfast from 8-10 a.m. which includes: fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, homemade muffins, granola bars, and oatmeal. The coffee and tea bar is always open, which I just love. I can't sing enough accolades for this beautiful bed and breakfast and its delightful host. If you're visiting Knoxville and you need a place to stay, you don't need to search any further.

Beautiful inside and out and very clean and homey. I felt so welcome from the minute I walked in the door and never have I stayed anywhere in all my life traveling where I enjoyed myself immensely. Everything about the Inn is wonderful and beautiful. Felt like home. My room was so very cozy and comfortable and was always so clean, peaceful and quiet. Laura is an awesome cook and prepared breakfast everyday for us and even accommodated my "gluten intolerance" problem and made sure that I did not have anything with gluten in it. I really enjoyed the fact that she hung around and shared stories with us during breakfast. Both Laura and Kyle were always so gracious and very kind. I really didn't want to leave. My first time to Tellico Plains and I will never stay anywhere else but the Farmhouse Inn when I visit Tellico Plains. I also really enjoyed the game room that was over the garage. Kyle has such an awesome collection of memorabilia. The front porch patio was so relaxing and enjoyable. Very beautiful and peaceful. Thank you so much Laura and Kyle. Can't wait to come back in September for another memorable vacation. Best wishes to you both and to Roger. Loved that cat.
