We are going through a renovation right now, so we have not had a washer and dryer in sometime so the amount of clothes we had was extensive. There are moments in life when everything seems to hit at once, and this was one of those moments…read more My washing machine decided to quit, laundry was piling up at an alarming rate, my daughter was sick, I was getting sick, I have a dog and a cat who somehow contribute to the laundry situation despite not wearing clothes, and I was leaving for a work trip in just a couple of days. It was the perfect storm. When I called Brenda, she answered, and honestly, all I could muster was, "Hi! I need help." Without missing a beat, she completely understood the assignment. From that first conversation, Brenda was incredibly kind, understanding, and reassuring. At a time when I felt overwhelmed and was staring down what felt like a mountain of laundry, she made the entire process effortless. And the results? Absolutely amazing. When my laundry came back, everything was spotless, fresh, neatly folded, and organized better than I probably would have done myself. Every item looked and felt great. There is something deeply comforting about opening bags of clean laundry when you've been stressed, sick, and running out of time, and Brenda delivered exactly that. Beyond the quality of her work, what stood out most was her generosity and genuine care. She went above and beyond to help when I really needed it, and that level of customer service is rare these days. Brenda didn't just do my laundry. She rescued me from a laundry-induced meltdown. If you're drowning in laundry, short on time, dealing with life's inevitable chaos, or just want someone you can trust to do an outstanding job, I cannot recommend Brenda Bubble Laundry Service enough. When I got it home, it had all of this fuzzy stuff all over it, and there was a dried spot of something - just on the surface, probably a smear of yogurt. I called before I left a review, to give them a chance to rectify it. I was very nice about it, and gave them a lot of grace - things happen. The woman was pretty defensive, and said things like that don't come out in dry cleaning. I mean, it's just a surface thing, and would scrape right off. She didn't say anything about the fuzz. It was very expensive to clean - $48, I expected it to look perfect (within reason, of course, but it already was pretty clean). She finally offered to re-clean it, but I decided not to, because when she said that they can't even flick off a little dried yoghurt, then why bother? I attached a couple of pics - there was twice as much of that white fuzz on it, but didn't think to take a photo until I was halfway through, and also found more afterwards. I did also take in a pair of linen pants and a shirt - they seemed fine.

He took off the suit and handed it to me and the next day I brought it to tik Tok cleaners. I dropped it off and when I returned a week later to pick it up, the man there handed me the pants in a wad and the pants were torn in the crotch. Not just torn but ripped. There were torn pieces that were so large. I was flabbergasted. I asked if his machinery had done this. He said no it came to him that way. I said I'd never bring in torn, unwearable pants to have dry cleaned. He argued with me. We stood there arguing about what happened and he wouldn't budge - it was my fault. So I paid for the jacket and the shirt and he told me he wouldn't charge me for the pants. I said of course not, he hadn't even cleaned them. I am wondering if they got caught in something and ripped. This was a custom made suit that was 2 years old. I don't understand but I can't believe the poor customer service I received there. I usually try to write positive reviews to highlight good businesses but I felt like I need to warn people not to go here.

I made a stop at the cleaners a few blocks down the road from United Cleaners first (simply because they were closer to my home). The man literally guffawed at me when I asked if he could help me. Needless to say I left without their help. When I walked in the door at United Cleaners I was met with a very friendly and welcoming greeting. I explained my predicament and the wife owner said she was happy to help, no hesitation. She also gave me a very fair price for the job. When I returned to pick-up the table cloths, her husband very kindly informed me it was a difficult job and to never put the table cloths in the dryer again. All with a smile and no guile! And since I had my hands full with my baby son, he personally took the table cloths out to my car and hung them for me. That is what customer service is!
