The trolley "jerked" us around the entire ride (not an exaggeration). This was extremely uncomfortable for all the guests that joined us for pictures, including our friend who was 8 months pregnant at the time. 2. Our parents, photographer & videographer were driving behind the trolley and all mentioned that smelly black smoke was billowing out the back. They also said that we never went above 25mph. 3. Due to the amount of time it took us to travel from one location to the next, it severely cut into our picture time with our photographers which meant they were rushed and our stops were cut short. 4. At one point, the trolley completely stalled in the middle of a street. It was probably only for a minute or two but it was another embarrassing moment for us. 5. When I called and emailed to express my complaints they were abrupt and rude, cutting me off in the middle of my sentence and calling me a liar about the complaint regarding the black billowing smoke and refused to give us any credit. I do not recommend companies that operate like this.

The only thing that allows his trip to happen, is having a limo to take him up and bring him back down each May and September (seven hours round trip for the driver). We have used Brentwood's DET for years and they have always been great. This year, there was a mix up with one of my dad's bags being stowed under his wheelchair by a new Delta employee and her forgetting that she had stowed it there. Well, a half an hour into their drive, Delta calls me, saying the bag was left behind. I call Mark in Dispatch (I think also the CEO) and he says no problem and gets the driver to head back to DTR and coordinates getting the bag delivered to the Limo curbside. No extra fee charged, no frustration, just great customer service. I'd highly recommend Brentwood's DET for your limo needs!

All the cars are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Uber/UberBlack in Detroit can vary dramatically and can be unpredictable. I like using Mancuso as they are dependable. On the day before my scheduled eye surgery on 2-25-2020, I called and explained that I would need transportation not only to and from that eye surgery and a follow up office visit on 2-26-2020, but also when I would have additional eye surgery on two subsequent occasions in the next three months. I was assured that I would be picked up after those surgeries and office visits within one hour after a call to be picked up had been made. On 2-25-2020 when I was transported to the surgery center, I was again assured that I would be picked up within one hour after a call to be picked up was made. At approximately 9:30 a.m. the surgery center made the call that I should be picked up. To make sure that such a call had been made, I called myself at 10:00 a.m., and I was assured that I would be picked up within 40 minutes and that would be by "10:40" a.m. When 11:00 a.m. came and went, I called again and was informed this time that it was not known when I would be picked up and I would receive a subsequent call about the time when I would be picked up. During the subsequent call I was told that a another client had been purportedly taken on a shopping trip, that client probably would not be done shopping for another 40 minutes, and then that client would be transported on that client's return trip. Only after that would any attempt be made to pick me up. Even though I had been assured that I would be picked up at "10:40" a.m., this purported transportation remained consciously indifferent about whether that would ever actually occur. Instead I would be kept waiting whatever was the indefinite amount of time this purported transportation service chose. That included whatever amount of time it would take to provide purported service to other clients if this purported transportation service had any. Because this purported transportation service had neither called or showed up by 12:00 noon, I then called a cab company, and by the time I was picked up 30 minutes later by the cab company, it still had not called or showed up. I could forgive that no credit cards were accepted for the trip to surgery center even though its website and the business card I was given during that trip specified that both Visa and MasterCard would be accepted, I would have to be taken to a bank before my eye surgery while all banks were closed to get cash to pay for that trip by apparently using a credit card at an ATM, and the driver could not provide any amount of change for a $50.00 bill even though the fare was $40.00. However, I will never forget that this purported transportation service had decided that I should be left in the surgery center recovering from eye surgery to wait whatever amount of time it chose, and I should trust that it would eventually pick me up before the surgery center closed even though all of its prior assurances had been demonstrated to be worthless.
