I always felt like the support staff would rather be playing on their phone than assisting me, and I would have a very long wait while I was in the office to see him. It would also take a significantly amount of work to get refills called it. I felt like I was bothering the staff to do their jobs. Then, two years ago I had an injury and made a 'first available' appointment, and was seen by Dr. Miller. Well, she was FANTASTIC! She took the time to listen to me and really was far superior to Dr. Veech, so I called to have my annual switched over to Dr. Miller. I had to wait 6 months to get an appointment, but it was worth it. I have been going to her for the last year and a half, and then I get a letter in the mail that she is leaving the practice. So now I'm leaving the practice too.

They were both extremely rude and showed no compassion. I have also had issues in the past with them twice failing to return urgent phone calls for 3-5 days and forgetting to order blood tests prior to when I showed up for an appointment. I have had friends express similar horror stories going to this practice.... They are extremely disorganized. I am looking for a new primary care doctor. The experience with the staff was unacceptable.

I called today, only to be met with some laughing and being asked to be placed on hold. After about 8 minutes on hold, I asked about my prescription refill that the pharmacy called in almost three business days prior. I was placed back in hold only to then be asked if I had checked with the pharmacy. Less than helpful.

The doctor was rude and passive, annoyed I couldn't give exact dates when I told him I can barely see the words on my phone but can give him the timeline. His attitude was abrasive and I asked for a female doctor which he snapped there were none just him and to deal with it, then a nurse ripped open the curtain and said "yeah he's the only doctor and he's already entered your room so you've gotta pay him. That's how it works" I will recite this exact review if I get a bill because I am not paying for negative attitude and people who are exasperated by my need for medical attention. I left immediately in tears and told the front desk how horrible the doctor and nurse were.tried to walk home unsuccessfully and people on the street thought I wa drunk and been assaulted from how upset I was on top of having extreme dizziness and nausea like vertigo. Shame because this place has been recommended to me but I'm not paying for their mean attitude and lack of care for wellbeing. I went to see him for an annual wellness checkup and was prescribed a medication for my anxiety. He told me that we would check in after a month of me taking the medication to see if I was doing well with it. I assumed this would just be over the phone as is normal practice with most doctors. When I called back after a month, he was on vacation for 2 weeks and did not have anyone at the office. So I was off my prescription for about a week before getting ahold of him and experiencing serious withdrawals. Then when I finally was able to contact him he told me I would need to come in person for an appointment for a refill on my medication (this is not standard practice and I've never had this happen before... it's unusual to be asked to come in for a full appointment for a REFILL of something the doctor has already prescribed). It's clear that he's only trying to make money by doing this. My insurance does not cover anything outside of an annual wellness exam, so it would be $90 for me to just get a REFILL of my medication. Absolutely ridiculous. Would not recommend this crook of a doctor. Additionally, when I called him to express my concerns he was EXTREMELY RUDE.

He never seems rushed or bothered by any questions and is genuinely interested in my well-being. He's always willing to give time for change in diet or lifestyle before rushing to prescribe medications. The office is clean and medically up to date, but the decor is older - but to me that's a positive. I'm paying for medical care, not fancy offices.
