She was fantastic and able to describe what her company could & would do to eradicate the nest of yellow-jackets& wasps that had taken up residence up inside of my soffit and roof rafters. Jackie quoted me a solid price for full service and did NOT try and upsell my situation. They could have responded as an emergency, but I declined and 1.5 days later Service Tech Josh arrived after calling me and providing an exact time of arrival. When Josh arrived, he was prepared, clean, neat, orderly and with a professional, fully stocked service truck. Josh took time to " listen" to the specifics of my issue and was soon changing into his full suit of armor to fight these pesky yellow-jackets. Josh got up into the areas required without causing ANY damage and destroyed this nest of well over 300-500 yellow jackets. Josh showed no fear and took these pest on a SEAL TEAM 6... When done, Josh cleaned up everything and digitally handled all billing. Please note: billing was 1/2 of what was quoted me for the same work by two other local companies. They also did NOT try to upsell me on a quarterly home visit etc. This company did what they promised at the price I was quoted. The problem was bees - the other service said they couldn't do anything unless I could find the hive....um, isn't that THEIR job? Glenn came the same day I called. I showed him where they were buzzing about...he sprayed, and today NO BEES! So glad I didn't use the other service. This is the second time I've needed a bee service and I'm glad I've used them both times.

I wouldn't recommend for driveway plowing…read more My father in law lives on Edwards Falls lane in Manlius, and is part of an HMA which contracted with Proscapes for driveway plowing, The service has been very poor. First of all, they will only come if there is 4 inches of snow fall per day. Although you might be able to get through the driveway with 4 inches of snow, the city plow will still come by and pile two to three times that at the end of the driveway. If it snows 3.9 inches every day for 3 days, they still wont come, and now the driveway is impassable. And, if there is any drifting from wind, this does not count toward snow fall, so you're on your own. When they do come, the don't plow the whole width of the driveway. This last storm, they plowed within 1 ft on the left side of the driveway (which I could live with), but was 3 to 4 feet from the left side of the driveway. So, the driveway which is normally double car width is reduced to 1.5 car width. This has been typical of every time they plow. Also, to save time, they drive the truck in forward, drop the blade, and then pull the snow backwards with the plow. This doesn't do a good job getting down to the pavement, and to make things worse, they don't clean up the snow they dragged back so that there is a drift left at the end of the driveway, before the city plow comes and makes it worse. The end result is that the driveway is so poorly plowed, it is virtually impassable, even after one heavy snow fall. This means someone has to go out and manually shovel to make it passable. Unfortunately, my father in law is stuck with this service since the HMA does not allow him to opt out to get his own service. Based on these results I would not recommend Proscapes in Jamesville NY for plowing services

My experience with this business has not been satisfactory. My vacuum, still under warranty as…read moreproven by a letter from the manufacturer authorizing work, was repaired due to poor workmanship performed at another warranty center. Upon pickup, I was met with a bill because the business was not going to eat the cost of poor workmanship on a prior service repair. I understand this logic, but not the expectation that the customer owes you for the repair. Once the manufacturer was contacted, a resolution was made and a credit was due to be issued to Mr. Vac. I was instructed to pickup my item from Mr. Vac. When I went retrieve my item, I was asked if I had payment; after it was explained that I did not and that the business was being issued a credit, I was told I my vacuum would be relinquished once payment was received. The manufacturer assured the business that a credit was being issued, but I was still denied my vacuum until the actual payment was "in hand." I was persistent in my attempts to get payment issued so that I may have my vacuum. After several contacts to the manufacturer, they opted to replace my unit (and apparently not to credit the business for the repair). I received a call from Mr. Vac guilting me into paying for the repair. I refused payment since Mr. Vac was still in possession of my vacuum (and after all had refused to relinquish in the first place, which prompted the manufacturer's decision to replace my unit). It is unfortunate how situation transpired, but with my vacuum now as Mr. Vac's property, the business is welcome to do what it pleases with my vacuum , including sell it as a used unit. As a certified warranty center, I find it unethical and bad business to demand payment of the customer for service performed for an item still under warranty. I cannot speak to the quality of repair, as the item is still in possession of the business. I am also appalled that I was being guilted to pay for the service, and once payment was declined I was rudely hung up on...I can assure you that I will not be doing business with this company in the future.
