In the month of October, they offer a haunted trail of approximately one mile, and a haunted house of approximately one barn. For some reason, they don't sell a combo ticket online and due to limits on how many you can buy in a transaction, may have to buy multiple. The haunted trail beings with being loaded into a cattle shute, where actors will occasionally try to scare those against the rails. The amount of people allowed released to the trail at a time did double as it became clear the line wasn't dying down. The spooky scenes are very well done, and the actors fantastic. They're spooky and committed to their roles. My only criticism is between the scenes it's really dark and hard to see what's on the forest floor below. The path is pretty clear, but one stray rock almost caused me to trip. That's when I decided to ignore the no cell phone request and put the light to the floor below me. (Maybe some discount Halloween lights or glowing pumpkins to light the way?)

This was my very first time riding a horse. The guides are very experienced and truly take great care of the horses. You do need make a reservation and it's about $30.00 for the hour. Our tour started out with just me and my friend and about 10 minutes in we were joined by another family of four. The tours usually stay on the smaller side. It was so peaceful and calming and I truly felt like I had a handle on riding within the first 5 minutes. The horses are very well maintained and cared for and I will definitely be back and even if it's your first time this is the place to go.

With all chicks launched, I made a New Year's Resolution to return to riding, or let that dream go. I could not have imagined a better experience. Vicki Peters is a great teacher who can clearly communicate what you need to be doing. I am learning new things, and breaking old habits. She is very easy to talk to and ask questions. In addition, the horse I get to ride during lessons is the biggest and nicest horse I've ever ridden and is a great teacher in his own right. Lastly, the facilities are beautiful, the horse owners I've met are friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I have driven past the Quiet Victory Farm sign on Rt 579 for years. I'm so glad I finally acted. I'm back to riding and learning again with a terrific equine partner.

This is such a unique ability when instructing, and it is so hard to find. She has been incredibly patient during lessons, help me set clear goals, and best of all she is giving me incredible opportunities to work with her horses in and outside of lessons to further advance my riding and horsemanship. Summer Camp: the regular camp is friendly to all levels of kids. After helping instruct a week of camp, I watched so many of our campers come out of their shell and realize why we love what we do so much. The highlight of my week was having one of the campers start the week terrified of the horses, and ending the week steering all by herself and counting the rhythm of her steps to focus without being nervous. It was a privilege to be part of this experience Advanced Camp: Jen knows her stuff and wow this camp is packed with so much information and experience. I really wish she had a version for those 18+ but I'm not sure how that would even work. All I know is I wanna do what those kids are doing... Anyone at this facility will tell you that the horses are all loved very much, and they are not just simply part of the program but the foundation of the family. I have such an appreciation for what this barn is and respect for those who run it.

I rode here for one semester as an undergraduate with a college equestrian team and had a horrible…read moreexperience that, four years later, I still think about all the time. First of all, I paid for a book of lessons upfront and was ghosted by the instructor and didnt receive a handful of them. Second, people in our group lessons were sometimes put on old overworked horses, or horses that still needed more recovery time after an injury. Third, Jen ignored me during lessons except to make fun of me for checking my posture in the reflection of the glass window or to blame me for her horse's anxiety and bad behavior. In the latter situation, Jen had one of her interns get on the horse with a half hour left of the hour lesson, and expressed sincere shock when the intern was having the same issues as me. (She had placed the blame on me not pulling back on the reigns hard enough, when i was using all my bodyweight, and the poor pony was getting worked up). Well, I ended up standing there and watching the rest of the paid lesson without getting back on a horse. Why did I even bother showing up?? To spend money grooming and tacking a horse for someone else to ride? Jen chose favorites on the team and also picked people out that she disliked. Generally, she loved outgoing extroverted people, and picked on introverts. There were a number of people on the team, not just me, who she wrongly blamed or gave unequal treatment to during lesson. Jen needlessly made me spend money on specific riding gear (like tall booths and a velvet helmet) telling me they were an absolute necessity, but then a boy on the team who she liked got to wear half chaps over paddock boots and a plastIc helmet, which was my setup originally!!! Wtf!!! Riding was always something i really really loved doing and looked forward to, but i would feel sick with anxiety on my way to lessons towards the end of my one season here. I left this place a worse rider and having spent a lot of money needlessly on accessories and lessons i never received, not to mention my confidence was crushed. It is not like me to leave reviews like this but I still think about my negative experience here all the time, years later :(

Marc spies on people and doesn't like when boarders communicate with each other. They had a horse with strangles and they didn't take any safety precautions besides letting that horse rot in a filthy stall. All other boarders were still going into the park spreading the sickness. Multiple times my horse was in with no hay and water and I asked Marc why my horse was in a stall and he said "oh it was a mistake" but he was brought in for a week in the heat of summer by himself. I never found out why as Marc kept lying to me not knowing I was there everyday. I gave a 2 month notice that I was leaving and Marc got an attitude with me and tried to charge me more than the regular monthly board. I heard him talking badly about me when he didn't know I was nearby. Inheard him talking badly about a lot of boarders. Has an overload of feral cats, won't spay/neuter or give them basic vaccines. Could be a laid back fun place, but it needs new owners. Photo is the average filthy stall they stand in, not even the worst of it like when they're trapped inside in the winter.
