I have a whole story why I gave one star similar to most of the one star reviews. I arrived at the store and found a vehicle I was interested in. Ran my credit which was a 730 walking into the store. After shaking the guys hand and negotiating a down deposit me and my wife left. The day before thanksgiving they call me in which was two days before payment one of my down deposit I get a call from another financial agent from here saying That he went over my file and things didn't seem right and that he wanted to go over everything in person. He then reran my credit checking things out with other potential creditors and then changing my down deposit to make it a thousand more than before. All said and done I went to a real dealership after that with less or same amount they wanted and ended up with a brand new car and because of stankside my credit score dropped a whole hundred points and got let down a day before a great holiday. I would never ever purchase from here. Also the car I thought about purchasing sounded a lot more used than 15000 miles on it to find out he was turning the odometers back mileage wise. So glad I went brand new and didn't waste money here. You would have to be real desperate or a fool to shop here for a vehicle, truth. read more

I used to take my car to Lakeside for everything. However, the last time I took it in was for a head gasket job and it went so badly I never want to do business with them again. Not only did it take them a month to do the job, but after spending $1200 and waiting a month, the car still isn't fixed. Of course Lakeside refuses to acknowledge this, even though it's a head gasket issue and is pretty darn easy to spot. Also, the owner (Andy) won't even talk to us about fixing the situation or giving us our money back so we can get the car repaired somewhere else. So thanks Lakeside, for taking the last money I had, and screwing me over by not fixing my car. I don't know about their used cars, but I do know their service department is far from the greatest. Just something you might want to think about before you buy a car there and want them to do work on it. read more

This dealership is full of dishonest and rude salesman. I was approved for financing the first day I was there. Came back for a second meeting and now I'm not approved and need 4x what I said I had for a down payment. I could hear the finance manager talking rudely about me. And they kept pushing me to get a car that I didn't want. I am Very disappointed and will definitely never return or recommend them to anyone. read more

I went to the dealer and walked into the building and asked for help. Mistake one was on me, I didn't look at the lot of cars available before entering. The first thing they did was sit me down and take ALL my information. This means they are running my credit report/numbers before I have any interest and that will hurt my credit. The sales rep wasn't interested in my needs or what I was looking for. It took over a half an hour to final talk/look at cars. I was shown two cars, which had stains and were dirty. The sales rep pointed out the obvious to enhance features- here are wipers, here are wiper controls, mirror and mirror controls. Seriously? The sales rep would not talk about the price with me on any car, no price was listed on car (had to go home and check the high prices online). I said repeated, I can't do anything until I know the price of the car- he said 'when you chose the one you want we'll crunch numbers'. No I'm not committing right away, I just want prices. Once ready to leave they tried keeping me 'want to test drive it?' Um no the car is dirty and I have lost my interest already. I was frustrated with this dealer and they are on my 'never refer' list. Teen family member bought a 2005 Exlorer Sport Trac spent 16k and a 97 ranger as trade in from Lakeside Auto.Sales. 33 days later my son needed to replace front wheel bearing hub at $130 plus labor and towing on the new Exlporer Sport Trac. Andy there was nothing he could do was mean and slammed the door in my face. Stay away from Lakeside at all cost. Andy Write It Up Gabler dosen't care who he takes advantage of. I wouldn't recommend this car (junk) dealership to my worst enemy. read more

Lakeside is a very dishonest deceitful car lot.Yes, i know not unfamiliar terms for a car lot, right? A relative of mine recently purchased a 2010 KIA Forte from Lakeside Auto. The car had four bent rims , unbeknownst to my nephew at time of the purchase, hes a marketing major, not a mechanic. Lakeside Auto refused to make good on this problem, citing operator error. The bent rims are causing bubbles on tires (wich is highy dangerous) and making irregular wear patterns. This makes the car very hazardous and unsafe to operate.The car also has power steering and electronic malfunctions from time to time. Once again Lakeside Auto refuse to take ownership. I would not recommend this nightmare of a car lot to anyone. read more

Gave one star only because I couldn't give 0. Traveled by bus 2 hours with the intent to purchase a car that I was told was in mint condition. I was told the car was accident free and no problems. The sales manager told me he would be in at 9am and could pick me up at the bus station. By my own choice I used UBER to get to the dealership. Arrived at 9:05 and the salesman I had been working with wasn't even there yet (he knew I was coming and I was in a hurry). A different salesman showed me the car and were they had fixed it . . . never was told it needed fixing. I took the car to a local mechanic and was told the car looked like it had been in multiple accidents. The mechanic was able to show me all the flaws in the work that had been done to the car. Needless to say I didn't purchases the car. I never received an apology or explanation for the lies I was told. I took a day off work and spent money on a bus ticket (both ways) The salesman I worked with was very dishonest and unethical leading me to the conclusion the entire dealership is the same.
