I drove to their office and bought the capacitor for $75. I returned home, put the capacitor in and the unit still did not work. I called back and made an appointment. They were back logged so they said it be the next day before they could come out to fix it. They could not come out the next day, so they said it would be sometime the following day, I waited at home all day and they finally showed up at 6:00 p.m. The tech installed the same capacitor I bought and cleaned the coil with my water hose, took about 30min. He did not have an invoice so he said they would mail one to me. A week later they called about the invoice...$253 to install a part I had already bought and clean the coil. I told them they must be joking, they were not. I said, " $253 dollars to clean the coil out with my water hose and install the part I already had?" , yes sir. I told them to mail me the invoice, I don't really have a choice, I have to pay it, thank you, goodbye. They called back about 15min later and told me they were dropping the flat rate fee of $65 so the grand total is now $188. Including the $75 capacitor this means I am spending $263, seems excessive to me, but maybe that is the way it is for everybody. Not Happy. The AC tech and office staff were very nice though, but I guess I would be pleasant if I was making money hand over fist like they are!
