Nice place small town feel don't expect a Petco, but in the same regards, the staff know much more than any standard petco employee. I liked the place and got a nice scratch blend that I'll be returning for along with half a dozen other things that I'm trying from them. To me the perfect small town feed store even equipped with tickets on sale to the fair and affordable if bought in person there in advance. Small town things like that make it a keeper in my book and a regular business I'll venture to at least once a month for the ladies and no I don't mean the employees I mean my hens. read more

Always friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Prices are competitive but even if they weren't I would rather buy local. It is a great place to buy chickens and other poultry as well as poultry supplies and I always leave with a smile on my face. read more

Got us for $38 for a kitten bath bag and it wasn't even a nice one. They are $15 online. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to wait for shipping so had to go through with it. Safe to say , we won't go back to this establishment. read more

This place is not helpful at all. I called to ask if they had a product and the person on the other line was very rude. Not customer oriented at all. Person who works there should be able to help me whether I come in or over the phone. Answer my questions, tell me what they have or don't have. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Donna is such an amazing help. I rescued a dog that ended up having twelve pups and she was right there guiding me through to the end. Purchase my pet foods through her and when recently I said my 13 yr old Maltese is not doing well she recommended the Victor senior food. I have a whole new dog! This old lady has become one of the youngest 13 yr olds imaginable. Yesterday at her grooming appointment they inquired as to what I had done to her? Nothing except change her food. This store is pretty nice and fully stocked (in some cases overstocked ). It is a family run business , Marie and her daughter run the check out and her son loads your car up and stocks the store. I have shopped there for years for our St. Poodle and two Labradoodles and yes we love to spoil them rotten. I'm not sure why, but there have been a few times that Marie & her daughter have treated me and my friend rudely. I recall once for exchanging a dog harness that was too small and once for paying with my ATM / Visa card . Both griped as if they could pick and choose how I paid for my purchase and I had no say in the matter. Then insisted that I pay with cash.??? They seem to have had their reason , but they made me feel terrible , I usually always pay with my card , but for this trip they wanted cash. I told them that this was not a good business practice and paid with cash that time. This had nothing to do with me or my card . I just felt like it was unprofessional of them It really is a shame when people have a job that they are obviously tired of and then continue on doing it only to lash out in front of or even worse directly at their customers. Really , it's just not good for business . I have avoided their store since then and order everything on line or buy elsewhere. read more

Only take credit card purchases with a $10 or more purchase. Annoying. The chick I purchased was caked in dried poop on its rear and feet, and it was wet because the brooder it was kept in was not ventilated properly. Hopefully this was an isolated incident, poor guy. read more

I've been coming to Marie's for my dog food for a couple of years now, and it really is great! If they don't have what I'm looking for she can usually order it, but normally she has everything in stock that I need. Super friendly people, they carry your order out to your car if it's heavy, just a real nice local store. I recommend it to everybody who has pets! read more

I've been shopping at this family run store for several months now. I shop for a household of four cats. I regularly buy Avoderm and also recently purchased new food and water towers. Marie or her daughter Donna always greet me and point me in the right direction. Chris always takes my purchases out to the car with a smile. I also rent cat traps from Marie. Once I caught a skunk and she told me how to manage it and had the right spray to neutralize the skunk smell. There is a lot more product than I'm describing here...I see posters for horses and rodeos, I've seen baby ducks on the store and they sometimes have a small selection of plants for the garden outside. I'll poke around more next visit! read more

I have been shopping at this store for many years and have never had a bad experience. They are always helpful and have a great variety of products. The staff is always friendly and greet you with a smile. Donna goes out of her way to make sure you get the right products you need. If there is a certain product I need and they don't have it in stock they will order it for me or find me something that usually ends up working better. read more

The store is very nice and I really enjoy the animals (cats and chickens). However the lady that works here, maybe the daughter, is so very rude that I HATE going in here. I love supporting local businesses but can't stand how she talks to customers like they're stupid. I have worked in retail before so I understand how dealing w/ the public can be frustrating but all 3 times I have been in here I have been very polite and have been shown nothing but disrespect. She can also hardly get off her phone to make a purchase w/ a customer. I won't be going here anymore.
