I have very mixed feelings about this shop. My wife and mother in law love it. There are some really good stuff for sale here but there is also a lot of tat. It's a bit like a shop that sells all the stuff that you find in those betterware type catalogues that always seem to appear through the letterbox. There are some ingenious things sandwiched in between loads of rubbish. They also have some food/ingredient items and general household goods - glasses, cutlery, pots etc. The biggest problem I see is that most of the interesting things that they sell can be found elsewhere, cheaper. I do love to shop and love hunting out a bargain and don't mind wandering about picking up individual items here and there so I tend not to bother with lakeland anymore unless I can't find what I want elsewhere. If you're the type of person who can't or doesn't like to go in search of things and don't mind paying a premium for it all to be in one place then lakeland is fine. The staff seem a bit indifferent too. read more
