I haven't figured out where everything is just yet; I am still pretty new to the area and would need a few more visits to really get to know the place. I do know that there is a downstairs and they have a local history section (which I really look forward to going into) One of my favorite things about this library are it's hours of operation. After walking around for about half an hour, I was informed about a tour starting at 10 a.m. Of course I couldn't pass that up. Rachel, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Her passion for the library and the Brownings showed through the information she gave. Lots of positive energy! In addition to the collection and ambiance/architecture of the library, the grounds are worth checking out. I will have to come visit again in order to really soak in all that the place has to offer. Please don't wait as long as I have to visit.

We used to turn in books for credit for years (until we moved out of town), was always useful to rotate through the stacks of paperbacks. Always had friendly service and help from the staff.

It gave me nostalgia from when I was a kid. It was a pastime that my mom and sister used to do on the weekends for fun, we would go to the library and check out 2 to 3 books and read them and then go back 2 weeks later and do it all over again. I'm so grateful that my daughter has inherited the reading gene and appreciates a good book. The library has a fairly nice selection, considering it is not a super big library, but they are definitely in the 21st century because whatever books they don't have available on the shelf, you can get online or read it in eBook form. I thought that was really cool.We will definitely come back again to check out more books. It was a little challenging to get a library card because you have to do a lot, in my opinion to prove that you live in Burleson, especially because, there is Tarrant and Johnson counties that go through the city. But it all worked itself out and we are officially library cardholders.
