It's a great cardio workout. We climb up trail stairs and down. We go up some hills and down. It really depends on the direction you decide to take. Fall is my favorite time of year to come here when the weather is a bit cooler and there is not as much people around. The trails in this this park is very clearly marked and you can see trails that were created by the parks department plus some that were created by people who wanted to adventure off the regular trails. There are some very very small caves if you look around hard enough. I see them take a quick peek and I am on my way. I am not that adventurous, lol. This is definitely a fantastic place to visit if you are in the area. Just a couple of things to remember. Bug spray is your friend. Spray yourself, ticks are not fun and also be careful when running your hands on the wooden handrails because there may be splinters. I now take tweezers with me just in case splinters or ticks but this park is still a fantastic place to visit.

The address in the tour book took us to a closed,…read moreprivate road, and it's a windy two lane road with no shoulder, so it was also hard to find a place to turn around. There is a bit of a pull off area, and there is a restroom, but when I went off season (warm but not declared in season) it was locked. So mileage may vary on its usefulness. Luckily, if your eagle eyes spot the pullover parking lot, the falls are a pretty short walk. I recommend taking the path to the right to the top of the falls so you can then move down the steep incline instead of going up. The view from the bottom is very pretty. It's a good view and only needs like 20 minutes tops of your time. It was quite doable for my senior mother, but some parts were very slow moving. She enjoyed it, so it does still work for beginners as long as it's not been raining. Would recommend stopping by if you like seeing waterfalls. It's the tallest in the state and very scenic.

I have enjoyed walking the loop trail around this park's central lake many times over the past few…read moreyears. It is a relatively easy walk - perhaps 1-1.5 miles long - starting from the picnic/playground area and going around the edge of the lake. Most recently when I visited the park there were plenty of people fishing for the bass and trout that the lake is stocked with annually. The walk was extra beautiful during this time in the fall with the hillsides speckled with reds, oranges and yellows due to the changing leaves. I highly recommend enjoying what this park has to offer - even off season - as it is somewhat secluded yet easy to access via car.

This review is specifically for the Mount Minsi Loop Trail. There is also a lookout point you can drive/easily park at a few minutes away. The small parking lots here fill up quickly, but if you can snag a spot it is worth the visit. There is a small trail around Lenape Lake; the fall colors around the lake are beautiful. There is also a picnic table near the lake. This area is part of the Appalachian Trail making it a great spot for hikers and nature lovers alike. You do not need to be an avid hiker to enjoy the easy trail here. There are no restrooms facilities here and parking is very limited.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on our ride yesterday.  The bikes were easy to operate,…read morepedaling wasn't too strenuous, especially with the electric motor assisted.   There are baskets beside each bike to store items so your hands are free to take pictures. Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable and so helpful. We got to see beautiful scenery, bald eagles, porcupines and deer.   When I'm back in the area, I'm definitely going to do this ride with friends. It must be beautiful during  foliage.

We signed the waivers ahead of time so all we had to do was check in once we arrived. Check in was easy and the staff is all super friendly and helpful. It was such a fun and different experience. Two hours and you stop half way to stretch your legs for a few minutes. The rail bikes each have a petal you can step on if you want to take break from pedalling. It's pretty powerful! The staff made sure we were comfortable with our seat positions and help make adjustments if necessary. Each side of the rail bike has a small metal basket so you can put your purse in it or a small cooler bag with water. There are bottle holders between the seats as well. It's was overall really fun! We would highly recommend trying this and will definitely book again.

The park is open dawn to dusk. Once in the park, the location is clearly marked and located. The parking is abundant and park generally clean. I noticed two potential negatives for visitors...1. The terrain is uneven around the hole and not handicap accessible. There is a cement overlook that arches over the hole for a direct look inside, but again, not handicapped accessible. 2. There are no trash cans at the site. We observed a bag of trash hanging from a tree left by a disrespectful visitor. Still overall it's worth a look if you're nearby.
