They have some cool tropical birds on their front entryway that are always fun to chat with! We have taken numerous guests here and always find the staff to be super friendly and the airboat drivers knowledgeable. It is a fun and educational ride for people of all ages and the cost is reasonable. There are other airboat operators who do the fast twists and turns in the mangroves, but I personally like this ride on Lake Trafford. Highly recommend!

She explained to me that in this summer heat 10am was the best tour to take as 11am it would be getting too hot and we would see less gators. She also said since it was a slow season we would get 5% off- even better! So the 5 of us drove the 1 hour drive (getting three teen boys up and out early on vacation is not the easiest task). When we checked in they said they were down 1 tour guide / captain. We were very understanding as they said the captain was not feeling well - so we were fine with it! And asked if we could take the 11am tour and he would give us a discount. Well the discount was the 5% she already quoted me over the phone. We finally got on our way at 11:30. I guess we were expecting the airboat to go fast- my mistake for not asking. Also this tour does not have the headsets so captain can speak to you. They do provide headphone to cancel the noise. Captain Fred was a nice enough man- however we would have appreciated him telling us a little more than 2 species of birds and slowing down when a gator appeared. We were curious about the traps that were in the water and also saw two fisherman in the center of the pond. No mention of any of that. While we quickly realized it being too hot for the gators to come to surface- that is not the problem of the tour guide or company- we would have enjoyed a little speed or something to make up for the lack of gators. Five-Star Experience!…read more We had such a great experience at Corey Billie's Airboat Rides! From start to finish, everything was easy and enjoyable. One thing that may help others: you can simply call to make your reservation. That wasn't completely clear to me from the website, but I called, made our reservation over the phone, and the entire process was very easy. Check-in when we arrived was quick and simple as well. Our airboat guide, Josh, was fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and made the ride so much fun--it honestly felt like a roller coaster through the mangroves! He was also incredibly helpful when Grandma started feeling nauseous during the ride. He made sure she was okay and took great care of us. The gator experience afterward was another highlight. The gentleman handling the alligators--Pat the "Gator Whisperer," --was extremely knowledgeable and explained that he had personally trained and worked with the gators. We even got to hold one! The scenery was beautiful, the airboat ride was an absolute blast, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable. Easy reservations, easy check-in, great staff, and a really fun experience overall. Five stars from us!

Austin was extremely informative, answering all of our questions and provided us with facts and information about the ocean around us. What was so special about Austin was his dedication and respect to the ocean life. He couldn't have been more compassionate to the surrounding boaters, surrounding fishermen/women, and wildlife. He went slow around the manatees and really appreciated all that was around us. Absolutely amazing man and company - I wouldn't choose anyone else on the island!
