They refuse to return peoples' clothes after the snow storm with no reason or contact, pre-paid.

I've been going there for a while and they've always had issues but it's never been worse. They have zero regard for customers. On my most recent adventure, they lost 2 suit pants and won't accept responsibility. I just can't keep doing this and you should consider this your fair warning. read more

First and foremost I joined yelp just to write a review of this place. I used to launder my clothes in Frisco but decided to look for something in town since I moved out here. 1. Customer service is atrocious at best. I drop my clothes off and can't pay until I pick them up. When I pick them up and ask for a breakdown of costs, the young lady has an attitude like am bothering her and the old lady seems upset that I dare ask her. It's my cash, I need to know what am paying for. 2. When I get my shirts with about 6 or 7 of them with cracked buttons and I ask why this is the case and you tell me it's the heat, this is not a good excuse. You're not the first drycleaners I've dropped my clothes at but you are certainly the first I've had this issue with. In the past this would happen once in a blue noon and they would replace it for me free of charge using one of the extras that come with the shirt. I asked you about this, you said we don't have the thread. What a lousy excuse. 3. This is what made me to finally quit using this place.My shirts have come with tears and some of then that have designs have come off the seams also, You attach the name into the shirt which tear the shirt when you try yo take them off. Learn from other stores if you may. 4. Finally, you get what you pay for. 99c for shirts that will result in almost 10-15 dollars in repairs. I've uses other 99c cleaners who were excellent in their service For all the reasons above, I beseech anyone who wants to use this place to avoid it like the plague. This is the worst experience I have ever had. Lake shore cleaners lost some of my items ( dress pants blue, 2 dress shirts)during my last visit. I was given the owners number after they couldn't locate these items. I, then, had to reach out to the owner who kept asking for more time. After four weeks of this and having my calls ignored, I finally decided to show up at the cleaners and demand I see someone. The owner, over the phone offers me $50. When I laugh, He then offers $100 because he can not locate those items. I gave them more than enough time to locate my items and had to make numerous attempts in order to be reimbursed what one shirt was worth. When I asked for an itemized copy of my receipt, since the one I received only had the total charge, Prejith Nair and Pramond Nair, the owners, refused and said they couldn't provide that information. They are very unprofessional and unresponsive. The funniest part was when Pramond pleaded with me and said they were just starting out and he couldn't afford anything over $50. Today I received the WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! This cleaner says they take back the wire hangers so today I went to take bag the wire hangers and the lady with glasses and short brown hair yelled at me for not having the wire hangers in a trash bag, although I did bring them in a bag white bag. She told me that today was Monday and she was extremely busy and didn't have time for this, I told her I was sorry and would take them back and toss them out I just saw they took back wire hangers and was trying to be environmental friendly, she was extremely rude and even when I tried to be nice she treated me like I was scum...I will never go back to this place or use their service again!!!! read more
