A S Flagstaff has zero security. Everything is online. There is no one located on site. The only 2…read morecameras are near the office (which only has a QR code on the door). All the gates that should be locked and closed are wide open 24/7. Bad guys as well as tenants have 24/7 access without needing a gate code. 4 units were burglarized one night. The bad guys went into an open unit and climbed over unit partitions to burglarize other units. They cut off locks and unit partitions using a battery operated reciprocating hack saw. This storage area is next to the railroad tracks. Trains make much noise which makes it easy to cover up the sounds of burglaries. Snow plowing in winter is terrible. Look for a place with people on site, security cameras, locked coded gates, and better partitions between units. This place is not that place.

Because I live here in town, I decided to swing by there. It is how they say - anyone can walk in or out the storage unit area, and I did notice the door to the indoor units was open. The "office" door with the mentioned QR code is now torn off and sitting against the railing outside the front door. The interior of the 'office' is extremely small and looks to be under renovation. The units themselves are fenced in with steel fencing and to be completely honest, I don't even know if anyone can access the doors - its looks abandoned - but the cars parked (or stored inside the unit area would suggest otherwise. Compared to other storage places in town, the value is low and does not justify the price. I'm avoiding this place simply because everything about it rubs me the wrong way. I do not recommend this place to anyone and would kindly advise against dealing with them.

I first used their services my freshmen year with my Hapa Hawaiian Club. However, besides moving my things in and out of the unit with my advisor, I didn't really deal with anything else first hand. Our club rented out a unit (not sure of the exact size but it was about the size of a small room) and we all just chipped in for the deposit. $50 for the entire summer while I'm in Hawaii? Not bad for my share at all. They had huge roller carts for use - long flat horizontal ones and tall vertical ones - which was convenient so we didn't have to really carry anything with a struggle. Moved my things in and out, no problem. The second time I used them my sophomore year, my own storage plans failed and it was down to the day I was leaving Arizona and I had absolutely NOWHERE to store my belongings. I was leaving the state in a few hours and was freaking out because I had exhausted all options to no avail. Called a bunch of storage places thinking Woodlands would already be filled being that school was already over and everyone had pretty much already moved out. Most of the other storage places were either too expensive monthly or were too far out for my convenience. Decided to just try and call Woodlands and to my surprise, they had the exact size unit I needed and for only $46 a month. I was told to go online and reserve the unit and it was as easy at 1-2-3. Everything was straight forward with all the need to know information. With just a click, the unit was mine and there was absolutely no stress or hassle. Got to the office and it was a very big, lodge-style, comfy/homey, clean lobby and I was greeted by a warm lady who quickly and professionally already had all papers ready in a folder with my name on it and an envelope with all my forms/keys being that I only reserved the unit a few hours prior. She explained everything I needed to know and gave me thorough directions on how to navigate through the units and how to get to mine. She was very friendly and the process was easy and no complications! My unit was on the second floor and I had absolutely no trouble moving my things in thanks to their elevator that is used to transport everything to the second floor and to their carts I mentioned earlier. The unit was the perfect size and fit all my things in to the tee. I pay my monthly fees online and again, their setup is easy as 1-2-3. I get it paid in 2 seconds. Their facilities are clean and professional and everything you expect. I will definitely always use them while I'm here in Flagstaff.

I called Tyler late at night a reserved the 28' Chaparral boat, and this thing did not let us down! Amazing boat in great condition, has the power and size to take on Lake Powell. Skylite was very accomodating to our requests and was super easy to deal with. They were fair and very helpful. I couldn't recommend them more. You will save a little money and get a nice runabout with an inboard/outboard rather than the cheap outboard rentals at the marina. After chatting with Robert for a few minutes about my years of experience boating, he went over a few things, hooked up the trailer and sent me on my way. To my surprise, he mentioned that he wouldn't be around when I returned the boat and trusted me to drop off. It had been a few years since I dropped a boat in the water and to be honest, it was one of my favorite parts of the day. It truly is like "riding a bike" and I impressed my wife with my boat ramp skills haha. The boat ran strong all day and buzzed the dam, made our way to Face Canyon and then cruised back to Wahweap. Perfect day on beautiful Lake Powell. The only drawback from the rental was the boat was missing a dock line (didnt really care because I just stopped to grab a few things at the store). Also, there was no stereo but like most boat rental spots, they don't rent stereos, they rent boats. I brought a bluetooth speaker and it worked out just fine. I will 100% be renting from them again and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone with boating experience looking to rent a nice runabout and save a few bucks.
