In all honesty this was my first time camping and i thought it would be worse but the utility's…read morethat this camp site had were good restrooms and sport activities were nice, we were mainly excited about the pool since it's april and no pools are open we thought this would be great while camping but we tried the pool near the Gold camp side and the pool was extremely cold, no one was in the pool besides kids who i'm guessing have a better tolerance than most teenagers or adults, that had to be the coldest pool i had ever gone in, we thought maybe it was because of the day so we tried the next day when it was warmer out near 80 degrees and the water felt as if they had put ice in there to make it colder (it felt like it lol) people started daring each other to go in the water, the hot tub was also closed, in all honesty everything else was good besides the pool and the lack of service you would get there even after paying 5 dollars for 24h of wifi u would maybe get 1 bar of service, camp C had water and electricity which was pretty good to charge up.

If I could give this place 0 I would without hesitation! One of the worst camping experiences I've…read moreever had. I've been a member at thousand trails for over 3 years and when we arrived for our trip with our family of about 5 different families/trailers we were all put In completely opposite sides on the park even though we booked together, arrived together, and were staying for over 7 days (all things we had been instructed to do to ensure we could all be together by staff members in the past at this location). "Beth" at the front desk was unbelievably rude to myself, and other members of my party. She said all the sites where we could all be tougher were taken.... (There were 6 empty sites all within a grouping that were completely empty for our entire stay at the park 7 days) She either lied, or simply had no interest in allowing us to camp together as a family. I went back on multiplied occasion on multiple different days during my stay asking if I could be moved and she was extremely unpleasant and acting like me wanting to camp with my family members was some sort of crime. My 5 year old daughter was present during my multiple conversations at the desk with her and my 5 year old was even confused as to why Beth was so aweful to our entire family. To top it off the security guard during the 4th of July was harassing us for having corn hole boards not kidding literally 2 feet outside of one of our family members camping space, yelling at my 9 year old nephew about not have a light on his bicycle to the point where he ran inside the trailer crying because he was scared, telling us we couldn't do fireworks with the kids (all we had were twist top confetti poppers and a gender reveal dust popper.) meanwhile people are riding around on ATVs with kids sitting in front of the handlebars with no helmets, sitting 5 people per ATV, trucks hauling kids in the beds of their trucks which both are actually against California law but this guys seems to have more interest in our corn hole boards being out of our space then the violations of the actual laws of the state! MEANWHILE while was harassing us over cornhole boards and confetti poppers, and constantly driving his security vehicle past our camp site at 1:30am we were alerted by members of our family that a wild fire had broken out on the other side of the site due to actual fireworks. We were not alerted to this by security, or the site management but by members of our family who happened to be awake and hearing people yelling! We decided to just evacuate ourselves and end what was honestly one of the worst camping experiences ever! All 5 separate families that went on this trip with us as a family are all thousand trails members, we were all treated extremely poorly, and all of us have decided to completly cancel our memberships! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this location it's poorly managed, you don't get to stay with you family members they put you wherever they feel like and then spend your entire trip trying to make sure you have the least amount of fun as possible! Would love a response from management here because this was ridiculous! Oh and just a little side note... this places putt putt course is concrete.... Basically playing putt putt in a parking lot.
