I was assured that the boat would have the accessory table, boat cover and all manuals at delivery. The table and owners manuals were not delivered. The cover delivered with boar was for a completely different and larger craft - it did not fit. I tried for over 8 weeks to get an answer from YH as to when these items could be delivered. After several texts and emails, I finally was called by the original salesman that my cover would be in, in 5 days. I allowed 10 days to pass before reaching out for status. I was then told a new cover would be ordered and the boat would need to be picked up. At pickup, I was told it would be returned in "a couple days".. It has now been 7 days with no communication from YH. I just called and was told "it's next in line"! When I asked when it would now be ready? - I was told "hopefully this weekend. We camped with some friends in the neighboring spot and it was a perfect setup. At the same time, had we not had friends neighboring to us, I still would have felt like we had plenty of space between us and the next site. We didn't visit the lake at all as there isn't really direct access from the campground itself, but we were okay with that. The only things that prevented it from being a 5-star, was the fact that there were no dumpsters or trash cans in the campground itself (had to drive to the boat ramp, which didn't make much sense), and the dump station filled up as everyone headed out so only those who got out super early were able to dump. The dumping situation didn't impact us as we have a large tank and were headed directly to another campsite where we could dump, but our friends had to find somewhere along their route and pay to dump which isn't super convenient. Overall, was a really nice laid-back spot for a relaxing weekend at the campsite and would visit again.

When I arrived the service advisor wanted to check with the shop foreman to see if they would even consider working on it because of it's age (2008 model). He agreed and assured me they "specialized in Volvo". After a few days I received a text letting me know the estimate for diagnosing it would be $655.00. I called to speak to service advisor to understand why just diagnosing was so high. I asked what their hourly rate is and he told me they quote everything by the job and he would not budge on the price. Reluctantly, I let them proceed. After about a week, they texted with a repair estimate of $18K. I called to discuss again and the service advisor couldn't answer any of my questions so he sent me to the shop foreman again. He explained that a gear sheared a tooth in the upper unit and there is also metal shavings in the lower unit so they need to replace both. I asked about repairing vs replacing and he said they don't do that. We discussed multiple options of used units and sending out for a rebuild but he wasn't interested in any of those. Apparently, they only "specialize in Volvo" if its simple maintenance or easy parts replacement - actual mechanic work, not so much. The shop foreman was also a little rude and condescending. I was stuck with a $755 bill for diagnosis and shop supplies for a repair they weren't qualified/willing to complete. Never again... **Update** The Operations Manager saw this review and called me to discuss. He offered to refund my money BUT ONLY IF I removed this review. I guess customer satisfaction only matters to them when it's beneficial to them.

Note we had a young child with us, and I likely would have toughed it up and dealt with a lot of the issues if I'd traveled alone or just with my husband, but we had a 4 year old with us. Note also a lot of our disappointment was out of their direct control, but the entire experience was a let down either way. We checked in to our caboose cabin. We were led through the park which looked predominantly occupied by full time residents, which was odd and kind of gave the feel that I paid $500 to "camp" in a trailer park. Again, we didn't meet a sour soul there, but it looked awfully crowded and some "properties / campsites" just looked a bit junky. Although they're clearly making updates to the cabins, the massive climate control systems aren't currently hooked up, so when it's 95° outside there's a little window unit working with all its might to cool the caboose down, but it's just not getting there. The inside of the cabin was clean and really cute. Just boiling hot. So we go to the lake to cool off, but the water is the temperature of warm bath water. Not their fault. The water at the designated beach was kind of murky with old wooden posts sticking up in a few places that made me cautious about walking more than a few feet from the beach. So we didn't stay long and head back to the cabin, head out to dinner. I know this next part is out of their control, but a huge storm came through and knocked out the power for the area and there was damage in the vicinity. A falling branch came within feet of hitting my vehicle, and a larger branch fell on top of their nature center, just from what I saw. But while all the RVs had generators going, we were without power.. or water. The sink and toilet couldn't be used, no power meant the temperature was rising again inside the cabin, and while opening the door provided some relief, there were mosquitoes aplenty. I tried opening a window but somehow brought down the blinds in the process. We waited about 2 hours, but my toddler wasn't going to hang. I packed the car in the dark and rain and headed home. Again, I could have made it work solo, but it was an overall disappointment with my son there. I'm hoping to get a refund for at least part of my stay, as again, the prices paid for the cabin alone vs. overall aesthetic of the park was immediately disappointing.
