Students have numerous opportunities to take Honors, AP, and college level classes. SCS students' SAT and ACT test averages are above national, state, and local averages. We have been very impressed with the entire faculty…read more The school is Christian based in all aspects. the children are held accountable for their actions and there is no "no child left behind" they get the grades they earn!. They also must test each year to see if they have learned the required material in order to be passed to the next grade, so grades alone dont pass them. They go to Chapel and also are encouraged to play sports, band, and participate in the fine arts competition each year which is a state wide chirstian school event. All the teachers are Christian men and women, and certified. The principal is also the pastor of the Church at the same location and is a wonderful man. the field trips are so much better than public school especially at the high school level. they have their own charter bus so no uncomfortable yellow bus trips. They often have other family events like cookouts and trips to see Christmas lights. I am so glad we took our child out the publc schools around here.
