Found this place on Airbnb and it was not a disappointment. We just so happened to come right after some snow had fallen so it was a super fall/winter vibe which was awesome. The cabin was super cozy and had everything needed to enjoy a comfortable stay. Love june Lake and the surrounding area. Have been coming here since i was a kid and i can't wait to return.

This was next to the hide rug.

Stayed here during late summer of 2021 as a last resort bc everything else was booked. This place is shitty. Sheets are gross, floor never swept, tables felt sticky... Ok location but don't expect cleanliness.

i love this place and employees are very nice:) rooms are super nice and clean and meet so many nice people

Don't Bother...Our Cabin #3 is a DUMP, no soap in bathroom, no facial tissue, one ply TP, dust/dirt We are in a pet friendly room at appx. $200/night...Cabin 1 is a non pet room for $103/night and as big and much cleaner and nicer...our kitchen, although equipped with a stove, is so ridiculously inconvenient it's almost useless... but the ultimate disappointment and reason we're cutting our trip short by 5 days was NO internet...!!! Im actually losing money staying here...!! As a musician I teach online and rely on a reliable internet connection...missed 3 lessons today...COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE... If your looking for a place to enjoy in the mountains whilst staying at your rented cabin, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE...if you want no frills lodging to sleep in only then cabin #3 is still a bit sketchy...!!! Also, there is no visible presence of a manager to talk to about this (owners do not live or work on premises and we were told "they're never here")...office seems to be closed most of the time and appears it has been converted into a rental unit...odd they still leave there "office" sign hanging over a door that is permanently locked... Lake Front Cabins are not on the lake, nor does one even have a view of water from anywhere on the property, sans climbing atop the roof, and maybe not then..

Love this place. We were there for three nights the first of June before all the crowds came in. The cabins have been redone and really nice. We stayed in #7. The beds were really comfortable. We met the new owners, super friendly and accommodating. Actually made another reservation for the end of August because we want to make sure we make it back this year before the end of the season. Loved being so close to the lake. I don't think I would stay anywhere else. Thanks Adam for the great hospitality!

Super cute and clean. The cabin is fully stocked and even the coffee is provided. All I can say is it is a definite do again.

Pretty simple and easy. The rates here are much more reasonable than the prices to rent a condo in Mammoth. You can visit during peak season for not that much money. We went here in March during many good snow years with friends to go snowboarding. Both of our families would rent a 2-bedroom condo and it was spectacular. Even during holidays, they have a flat rate. For a 2-bedroom condo during Christmas and New Years it was only about $150/night. The same kind of condo in the village at Mammoth during that time would probably go for about $2000/night. The condo was awesome. It includes daily housekeeping and it's less than a 2 minute drive to the June Mountain. It had a master bedroom and one bedroom with two beds. It also had a huge living area with floor-to-ceiling windows. We could see the ski resort from our condos in the morning. How awesome is that?! It snowed over a foot of fresh powder while we were there and the next morning you could sit in a chair with a cup of coffee in your hand around 6 AM watching the ski patrol perform their avalanche control work, which is what I did. The condo also had a full kitchen with a microwave, fridge, and utensils. We had a huge balcony with a BBQ which we did not use because we were snowed in. Overall, I would stay here again. Thank you June Lake Properties for making my stay a fantastic one that I will remember forever. Highly reccomend!!

You ever were disappointed and let down when one of your favorite go to spots go out of business or…read morethe owners get too old and their kids move on... so you're sad because another favorite place bites the dust? Just found out Graphic Conclusion is no longer there because the owner died and the wife didn't want to take over...So after the Pandemic and we came up to Rock Creek and Yelped "Pie in the Sky"and it no longer existed... I was bummed... another establishment bit the dust... the Pie in the Sky lady no more.... until today... I kept yelping "food", "burgers", "restaurants" for Rock Creek Lake... nothing... Ineresting Rock Creek Lakes Resort came up... okay, let's look at pictures... hey, Twin Lakes Resort has a good place to eat... even Convict Lake has a nice place to eat... there were some pictures of food... hmmmmm... pulled pork sandwiches? After further investigation, I checked out their website... they got smoked meat? Really... no pics, no menu... even on Yelp... nada... No matter... I will Google maps it and see where this lodge is at... wouldn't you know when I got there it was the Pie in the Sky location... so I dropped everybody off to try their breakfast first... sorry, no picture of the breakfast because I started talking to a long time customer, whose daughter even worked there... she told me the history of Pie in the Sky and told me that their daughter and son in law took over the business... and the Pie in the Sky lady, the daughter's mom still bakes the cobbler... and another daughter in law now bakes the pies... and the son in law built and manages the smoker in the back... she told me to take pictures of the smoker... so I left my bar stool and went out to the back... sure enough Steve, the Pit Master and owner was prepping the brisket and his smoker was getting ready... I asked him what kind of wood they use and he told me they get almond logs locally... very cool... He informed me they make their own BBQ sauce right there... wow... no ribs today, but maybe tomorrow... and today he wanted to roast some corn in the little smoker... after talking I went back in and started talking to the lady customer again... completely forgot to take a picture of my breakfast... I remember the bacon was delicious... and noticed she had French toast... next time... it was too early to buy the BBQ and the pies, so I needed to return at 10:30 when they sell them... at 11:00 my wife and nephew were done fishing and decided to go with me... we came back and I order all the meat available to try... the brisket meal which came with chili and coleslaw... the pulled pork with the same sides and 1/4 pound of Tri Tip... and finding out that the Pie Lady made the cobbler I ordered the peach and berry cobbler along with the Coconut Cream Pie and the Lemon Cream Pie... Finding out that Pie in the Sky never left and was now taken over by family made me very very happy... I took a lot of pics with explanations with scores on all the food... My big surprise was the chili and the lemon cream pie... both got a 10/10... A big thanks to the daughter and son in law taking over the parents business... not only taking it over but making really awesome changes without sacrificing the love and charm of Pie in the Sky... it's cool because Mom and Dad still come around and help out with the business... Oh... here's another interesting thing... I asked Steve if he wanted me to make a Yelp for the restaurant and he said he has one up... It's called, Miller and Son's BBQ Sauce Brewing... when I went to their site there was no reviews no pics... so I was the first to put pics on the site... now I will go there and write another review at that site... so there you go... Pie in the Sky is now Miller and Son's BBQ Sauce Brewing... and I did go home with both the Original and the Velvet (tinge of coffee flavor) both are delicious and I will put that on my slow cooked meat... hahahaha... no offset though just a Traeger... Hoping more people who loved Pie in the Sky will find it again!

We didn't have any issues during our stay at the #570 Modern Mountain Retreat in an Idyllic Creekside. The condo had everything we needed and had no issues. It was well updated and the decor was pretty and modern. The available appliances were great (toaster oven, air fryer, large Hamilton crock pot, large tub washer/dryer, etc.) and in good working order. I must highlight, the kitchen knives were good quality and sharp. Quality plates and silverware. Parking was easy and convenient. The hot tub was the building adjacent from our rental. We very much enjoyed our stay. Dog friendly. We will definitely reserve this rental again.

Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. During a 3-night stay, we experienced numerous maintenance failures and extremely poor support. This unit is clearly not well maintained. The first night, the circuit breaker tripped and we lost power and lights in most of the unit for 12 hours. I called and messaged repeatedly and could not get help. Cooking in pitch black wasn't easy. There was no after-hours emergency number on their voicemail at the time (this appeared only AFTER the incident when I complained). I requested compensation and received none. I was even told there were "no issues," despite being on the phone during business hours and receiving verbal instructions on how to fix it myself. This involved first finding the circuit box outside, then resetting the switches & GFI buttons inside. Finding the unit was also unnecessarily difficult. It's in Building G. We searched for 45 minutes in the dark. This information is buried under "Amenities" instead of being included with check-in instructions. When I pointed this out, I was treated like I was the problem. Additional issues included a TV that randomly stopped working (outlet broke), an extremely finicky furnace (we fixed a broken wire), a broken wall heater, an unsafe and unusable couch bed (claiming it is 'fine' should reflect their standards) pellet bags piled in the living area, flimsy fixtures, a shower door that wouldn't close, and loud furnace/vent noises at night. They want to argue with me because they say it's an easy fix. Well this isn't my house. All I know is the power is out and I have no help in the dark. Don't know where the box is don't know the switches. Plus this was fun- they had a lock in the circuit box! No accountability. Bottom line: poorly maintained unit and terrible management. Their response below alone has been just as dismissive as they have always been. Beware

I planned this trip with a group of friends, and they could not stop commenting about how the chalets was the best stay they've been in at Mammoth. We stayed at chalet #9 which was not a ski out, but a very short walk to the main lodge/lifts and definitely a ski in from lower road runner. The chalet itself was cozy with plentiful seating, and even extra foldable chairs for our group. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms came equipped with hotel sized toiletries, which was a nice touch. The kitchen is a good size and well equipped with all the necessities, along with a fridge/freezer that was the perfect size to fit all of our weekend groceries. I also appreciated that they even had a huge pot to make group meals like pho, even though I had already brought my own instant pot. I would 110% stay here again and recommend the chalets to all of my family and friends. This was such a wonderful find. Thank you for the awesome stay Mammoth Mountain Chalets! :)
