The scope of the project grew as we realized that we needed more things done in the house before we could move in, which included: installing several interior and exterior doors, removing and reinstalling a built-in set of drawers, installing and fixing flooring, removing a built-in wet bar in the basement, doing some work in a bathroom so we could put in a new vanity and bathtub, removing a wall between two rooms so one could be turned into a walk-in closet, making a small alcove into a closet, stripping down a door to be refinished, making shelf supports for our long pantry shelves so they don't bow from the weight, and helping fix a basement leak that was due to the prior owner not properly fastening his deck to the foundation. I am sure there some things I am forgetting, but the bottom line is that Patrick and Chris were always up to doing what we needed done. They were on time, professional, friendly and easy to work with. Patrick was great about providing quotes for all of the work, and had very reasonable prices. In addition, when I needed a contractor for something that he couldn't do, he knew someone in the area he could recommend, and those recommendations (of which there were several for: roofing, plumbing and tile work) worked out great. My wife and I appreciate the great work that Patrick and Chris did, and would highly recommend them for any type of construction project - whether it's big or small.

Finally after repeated phone calls for 18 months they finally came out to inspect. Decided we did indeed need repairs but had to take a piece of siding off the house to match! Even though they did the install! Obviously they do not keep good records? Now I have been without that piece of siding for 3 months! The snow is about to fall and they took the piece of siding from the western exposure on the house so our usual drift area of the house is exposed to the elements. This has been ongoing for 2 years but they made it worse by taking the piece of siding off our house! Repeated calling is getting us no where, the same line everytime "oh I thought someone came out there"!

A few weeks later I received a letter from a law office stating PERFECT RESTORATIONS LLC did not pay the building material supplier. They are now placing a lien on my house. I've tired to call and send a letter to PERFECT RESTORATIONS LLC, but they have not returned phone calls or answered the office phone. The owner Jim Novak also will not return calls as promised. Try to recover funds by contacting Attorney General. I want to inform other home owners to beware when selecting PERFECT RESTORATIONS LLC. The BBB.ORG has just given a F rating to this contractor, and lists 8 compliants on file starting from 2011. Just seen on the BBB.ORG site, Perfect Restorations now has another office in Crystal Lake, IL. So, it seems they open an office to take peoples money and switches to a different location.

Day after day the team came in with positive and hard working energy. Having them in our house was an absolute pleasure. The project shut down the main room of our house, but they pulled off the impossible and made it feel like there was no project going on at all when they left. They cleaned thoroughly after each day, and were extremely thoughtful to cover and protect every last bit. Waldron was the most hands off General Contractor with whom I have ever done business…read more Fortunately, my husband was retired from the building trades and could act as the project manager while tradesmen from a variety of subcontracted firms requested direction. Interestingly, the firm subcontracted 2 different carpentry firms. one to build an overhang on our front door and the other, Jenson Carpentry, to build a new pool house. Jenson as a subcontractor was outstanding The pool house was completed before the overhang on our front door. Waldron insisted on us ordering our custom front door from a particular manufacturer in order to get his "Warranty". The door cost twice the price we planned to spend and was not delivered until nearly a year after we wrote a check in full to Waldron. Months elapsed before we, as the customer, heard from the manufacturer for clarifications. There were many issues and many emails between us as the customer with the manufacturer, not with Waldron. When we received the door, it did not meet our requirements provided in writing to Waldron. Waldron told us it was not his problem.

He doesn't take care of issues but passes them to his employees. We paid a lot for for our kitchen and there are things that are not right. In our contract it also states that they clean up after and our basement where they had to do work for our kitchen has never been clean. The whole orocess has been a complete disappointment and it is stressed, do not use them. Almost a year and iur kitchen has not neen completed.
